Jerome Bracken, C.P., Ph.D., Associate Professor of Moral Theology, and Justin M. Anderson, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Moral Theology, having been awarded a grant by the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion, conducted a day-long colloquium titled Toward a Wisdom of the Heart: A Pilot Program to Effect Cognitive and Affective Appropriation of Ethical and Moral Teaching in a Theological Seminary, in Seton Hall University s Chancellor s Suite, South Orange, NJ, on September 28, At the colloquium, ten professors, from institutions ranging in location from Boston to Washington, DC, shared and discussed ways of teaching that would have this two-fold effect. The professors represented The Catholic University of America, The Dominican House of Studies, Holy Apostles Seminary, Immaculate Conception Seminary, St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, St Mary s Seminary and University and Mt. St. Mary s Seminary. Reverend Vincent Twomey, S.V.D., Visiting Scholar, gave concluding comments and observations.
