Mr. Williams graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Extractive Metallurgy) from the Western Australian School of Mines and an MBA from Tulane University. He has worked in the mining industry since 1976 in milling operations in Australia and Canada. He worked 20 years with SGS Lakefield Research. At SGS Canada he became Managing Director, a company with about 1300 employees in Canada. Steve has authored many technical papers. In 2004 he became a CIM Distinguished Lecturer and in 2008 a CIM Fellow. CLINTON SMYTH P. Geo VP Exploration Clinton Smyth P. Geo, is VP Exploration of Pasinex Resources Limited. Mr. Smyth has a MSc. in Geochemistry (Cape Town) and an MSc. in Computer Science (London, UK). He has 35 years of experience in the minerals industry. From 1975 to 2000 he worked for the Anglo American Corporation in minerals exploration, resource evaluation and mining. He led the group which discovered the Buzwagi gold deposit in Tanzania, the team responsible for resource evaluation in Anglo American s New Mining Business Division, as well as for the Skorpion zinc deposit. Currently on the board of Dolly Varden Resources. BARIS G. YILDIRIM, MSc. Manager Turkey Baris G. Yildirim, MSc. is the Turkey Manager of Pasinex Resources Limited. Baris Yildirim is a geologist and minerals processing engineer based in Ankara, Turkey and has 8 years of experience in the mining industry. He worked as a geologist for Teck Resources in Turkey and managed multiple exploration projects. His work at Teck was awarded twice, as New Discovery and Best Work Proposal. As well, Baris worked as a process mineralogist for Teck Metals in Canada, and executed an integrated geometallurgy project between Highland Valley Copper Mine and the Teck research center. Baris has published seven technical publications.
DAY 1 - June 6 th, 2012 You will arrive in Istanbul. We will arrange for an English speaking travel guide to pick you up and bring you to the Conrad Hilton Hotel, which is a 5* hotel with a great view of the Bosporus. For dinner the group will meet in the lobby to go to a restaurant, which is known for its extraordinary view of Istanbul. DAY 2 - June 7 th, 2012 During breakfast we will meet with representatives from the Istanbul Exchange and important Turkish market makers. At noon we will take the ferry from Istanbul to Bandirma. There we will be picked up by our VIP tour bus and drive to Troy. After that, we will drive to Canakkale. On our way, we will visit an existing Gold Mine (tba). We will be staying at the Kolin Hotel, where you can enjoy a relaxing wellness program. For dinner we will go to a regional restaurant. DAY 3 - June 8 th, 2012 On the third day, we will take the tour bus to Balya. Steve Williams will show us some interesting geological alterations. In the afternoon we will visit a zinc mine (tba). After this intense geological trip, we will drive to our hotel, relax at the pool and have dinner later that day. DAY 4 - June 9 th, 2012 The tour bus will drive us to the city called Dikili. On our way there, we will look at an interesting gold deposit (tba) and some active hot springs. In the afternoon we will visit Pergamon, which was an important city in ancient times. We will spend the night at a 5* resort, which is located on an beautiful island called Kalem. There we will enjoy the rest of the day. DAY 5 - June 10 th, 2012 In the morning we will take the tour bus to drive to Izmir. On our way, we will look at some geological alterations and visit an important producing gold mine (tba). We will also visit an archeological excavation called Ephesus. If we have enough energy and time we will also drive to a small city called Sirince, which is known for its great winery. After that we will drive to Izmir and stay at the Izmir Hilton Hotel. DAY 6 - June 11 th, 2012 In the morning the tour bus will bring us to the airport and we will fly to Ankara. Another tour bus will take us to our hotel. After we have check in, we will visit the MTA Museum, which is a well-known geology museum and meet with experts, who will answer any questions about the Turkish ecological environment. After that we will meet Government Officials and members of important mining associations, which will tell us more about the Turkish market. We will have our last dinner at the Piano Club, which is known for its great view of Ankara. DAY 7 - June 12 th, 2012 This is our departure day, thus you may use the time before leaving for some shopping and sight seeing.
