Faced with ever increasing competition, managers need to be able to deal with the challenges of today and tomorrow. They must be capable of identifying opportunities, finding innovative solutions and then implementing them. The International Business Administration programme offers a complete business education, with a particular emphasis on the global environment. The course provides theoretical and practical knowledge in the core business areas, such as marketing, human resource management, finance and accounting, and an understanding of how they relate to each other. Your personal profile is enhanced as you participate in business projects and an internship, and you improve your study, organisational and communication skills. Managing and Leading The world is constantly changing. Ever increasing interdependencies, globalisation, technological and demographic changes are among the challenges a manager has to deal with. It is essential to understand all parts of a business and its value chain, and how they relate to each other. Executives need to be able to see the big picture and answer questions such as: How can a company become more efficient and at the same time increase quality? What steps should a company follow to establish itself successfully in foreign markets? What is the best strategy for developing innovative products and services? When making decisions, managers also have to take into account the expectations society has of business. They must understand the central roles of sustainability and corporate responsibility.
