FOOD SERVICES MANAGER/COOK PROVO Position Location: Salt Lake City, UT Salary Range: $12-15/hr We are seeking a self-motivated, organized, proactive team member who genuinely enjoys cooking and meal preparation and values making a difference in the lives of the residents that we serve. Job Description: The individual in this position is responsible for managing the food services for a women's and children's residential program with the help of an assistant. Planning for and preparing lunch and snacks five days a week for approximately 30 people, supervising a part-time assistant, designing healthy monthly menus for each facility, maintaining a monthly food budget by inventorying, ordering and rotating food staples and supplies as needed, soliciting and reporting on food donations, coordinating food deliveries and shopping, maintaining kitchen and food storage areas in a clean and organized manner following proper sanitation methods for food preparation and storage Hours: 24-28 per week, between 10 a.m. and -3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Job Requirements: Preference will be given to candidates with cooking and kitchen management experience. Must be able to qualify for Serve-safe license and food handler's permit upon hire. CHILDREN'S GROUP ASSISTANT Status: Part-time Hours: 24-28 hours between M-F 9:00-5:00. Salary Range: $9.00-9.50/hr, depending on education Job Description: Non-profit residential treatment program for women with addiction issues and their young children is seeking a Children s Day Treatment Group Assistant to assist with the implementation of early childhood social/emotional interventions. Preference given to applicants with a basic knowledge of early childhood development and experience with childcare of children ages 0-8. Bachelors level degree in early child development, education, or social work preferred.
