Four skills in elementary Spanish: listening, speaking, reading, and writing are further developed within the contest of Hispanic culture. GSEs/ Standards Addressed: Students comprehend Spanish when listening to a variety of sources. Students communicate by speaking Spanish for a variety of purposes and audiences. Students comprehend Spanish when reading a variety of materials. Students communicate by writing Spanish for a variety of purposes and audiences.
