Recreational Program U8-U18 This program is designed for the player that is involved in multiple activities and may not consider soccer a top priority. The program builds on the House League by introducing players to the game in a fun setting where they develop soccer skills and knowledge of the game while also learning life skills such as sportsmanship, teamwork and respect. Playing time is as close to equal as possible to be fair to all players. The Club will attempt to keep teams together from season to season to allow the players to build a strong friendship and sense of community. The outdoor season begins in April and ends any time from the end of June to the end of July depending on the level (Tier) of the team. Players registered in the U8 U12 age groups will receive free technical sessions that are run by qualified CVFC staff who have been licensed through Alberta Soccer.
New Player Uniform Fee New players to the Club will be required to purchase the Club strip at registration. This $70 fee purchases a full blue uniform and a full black uniform (shirt, shorts and socks). This is half the retail value. These uniforms will be used for the Indoor 2016 program. New U8 City League players will be required to pay this fee if they currently do not have the club mass kit. Players who already have the kit but would like to get a new jersey or extra shorts and socks can purchase so at the office and do not need to select the New Player Uniform Fee.
