6 UPPER MUNICIPAL PARK MOUNT UNION LITTLE LEAGUE FIELD Location: Park Street, Mount Union, PA Home Teams: Angels, Curve, Mets, Phillies, Pirates, Red Sox, and Reds. Directions: Google Maps The Mount Union Little League field is located in the Upper Municipal Park complex along Park Street in Mount Union, PA. The field is located in the middle of the three field complex. Park amenities include ample parking, bleachers, portable bathrooms, a playground, three batting cages, dugouts, field lighting, scoreboard, picnic pavilion, picnic tables, and a full service concession stand. Upper Municipal Park is connected by a walking path and bridge to Lower Municipal Park where one can find more playground equipment as well as a skateboarding park. Upper Municipal Park was opened in 1965 and is also home to the Mount Union Tee ball (ages 4-6) and Rookie Divisions (ages 6-8) and the Mount Union VFW Teener League (ages 13-16). 7 Schedule of Events Thursday July pm Registration and Check in for Sections 1,2,3,4 4 6 pm Registration and Check in for Sections 5,6,7,8 If you need to Check in and Register on Friday Morning, please make prior arrangements with the tournament director. All accommodations, will be the responsibility of the team. See attached motel information. Friday July am - Section 5 vs Section 8 (Game A) 1 pm - Section 2 vs Section 3 (Game B) 4 pm - Section 6 vs Section 7 (Game C) 7 pm - Opening Ceremonies Teams must have Jersey, Hats, and Sectional Banner 8 pm - Section 1 vs Section 4 (Game D) Warmups: Throwing warmups will be available on the adjacent field. Batting warmups will be in the cages at the field one team will use each cage. These will be available approximately 2.5 hours prior to game time. Dinner will be server in the concessions area for players and coaches from 3-7 pm daily throughout the tournament. 12 Lodging Information Juniata College Dormatory We have reserved some rooms at Juniata College at a discounted rate for those needed or wanting this option. Information for this is listed below. Reserving a room: Each INDIVIDUAL will need to register online ( ) or call ( ) to reserve a room, including all children. The reservation form has a space to list a roommate and a comment section to make requests (for instance room near a certain person). After registering online, call our office to complete your reservation and give check-in and checkout dates. (Again, you can call us directly if you do not want to register online) Please note: double occupancy are $25/night/person and single occupancy is $30/night/person.
