3 2015 ONTARIO PROVINCIAL TAEKWON-DO CHAMPIONSHIPS OCTOBER Invitation Letter Dear Grand Masters, Masters, Instructors and Students, Master Parm Rai is honoured to host the 2015 Ontario Provincial Taekwon-Do Championship. This Championship will take place on October at Haber Community Centre, 3040 Tim Dobbie Drive, Burlington, ONTARIO. This event is Officially sanctioned by the ITF. This competition is open to all ages and belt levels of ITF. All belts up to 6th Dan (degree) are welcome to compete in patterns and sparring. The pre-registration competition fee is $60.00 per competitor for 1 or 2 events. The deadline for registration is October 1st, 2015 Please make all cheques payable to Parm Rai and mail it and the appropriate forms to Parm Rai, 2252 Stratus Drive, Oakville, Ontario Canada, L6M-4W3. We hope that we can count on your support and co-operation for this event in order to have a successful and enjoyable championship. 7 Rules For Competition *** This is an Official ITF Sanctioned event, ITF rules will be enforced. Patterns O 2 Competitors elimination system will be used for all Coloured belt divisions O 2 Competitors system will be used for all Black belt divisions O For the Gold medal round, competitors will perform 2 patterns Sparring O 1 ½ minutes continuous sparring will be in effect for all Coloured belt divisions O 2 minutes continuous sparring will be in effect for all Black belt divisions. O There will be 2 rounds of 2 minutes for the Gold medal match. Sparring Gear All competitors must have the following mandatory gear to compete in the Sparring division: O FOOT O HAND O HEAD GEAR O MOUTH PIECE O GROIN CUP (BOYS) Coaches Only Registered coaches will be allowed on the competition floor. There will be no exception to the rule.
