Business Services WTIA SERVICE BUNDLE As the largest and oldest statewide technology trade association in North America, we are here to help you grow your company. We do this by offering essential business services that provide tangible economic value and providing programs to help you recruit, develop, and retain the best technology professionals. The WTIA Service Bundle is a package of valuable business solutions designed to help you attract talent, raise capital, and grow your business. Each WTIA member company has exclusive access to: Healthcare Insurance Benefits Leadership training and education Unlimited job postings on WTIA web site Office hours business mentoring and consulting Discounted goods and services The anchor of the Service Bundle is the healthcare insurance benefits, a long-standing service that has reduced cost, delivered premier healthcare plans, and helped small and medium sized member companies recruit and retain top talent. All of the business solutions in the WTIA Service Bundle are designed for small and mid-size companies, typically with less than 200 employees, and which represent nearly 90% of all the technology companies in the State of Washington. Healthcare Insurance Benefits The WTIA Employee Benefit Trust is a Association Health Plan (AHP) certified by the Insurance Commissioner of Washington State and provides member companies with access to exclusive healthcare pricing and benefits. The Trust offers diverse choices for all major employee benefits including health, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and wellness. You must be a member company of the WTIA to Access the Trust. The Trust offers Regence Blue Shield of Washington as the health carrier. Delta Dental, XXX, and YYY provide the remaining insurance services. DiMartino Associates is the exclusive general agent. Benefit Solutions Inc. is the TPA (Transcontinental Pacific Absolution?). Collectively, this consortium of industry experts provides a complete healthcare solution for WTIA company member companies. Leadership Development The WTIA offers Leadership Development through SwiftLeadership, a division of Swift HR Solutions, Inc. This unique program offers a practical approach to developing leaders within technology companies, through an ongoing leadership development program, delivered in just 30-60 minute sessions, internally. Member companies receive one module and consultation for free ($750 value). Choose from High-Impact Hiring, Effective Communication, or New Manager WTIA 1

Development. If the member company chooses to purchase additional modules (from a list of topics), or an entire year-long program, they will receive a 10% discount. Free Job Postings The WTIA offers a tech only job board for technology companies and professionals. The job board is promoted on the home page of the WTIA web site, which reaches a global audience of tech professionals. Member companies are provided unlimited job postings on the site and also receive access to WTIA salary data. Free Business Consulting The WTIA works with best in class service providers to provide our member companies with free coaching and business mentoring designed to help you raise capital, attract talent, and grow your business. Open office hours are held on a monthly basis. Each monthly session covers a four hour period and provides member companies with access to legal, accounting, HR, and financial planning experts. Members can sign up for a one-hour consultative sessions through the WTIA on a first come first serve basis. The topic(s) must be specified in advance by the member to ensure that WTIA provides the right resource at the right time. Discounted Goods and Services The WTIA, through its group purchasing power, has negotiated many discounted goods and services for its member sponsors. These offerings are available through our protected member-only log-in. Specific offerings include best rate home loans, discounted shipping and receiving, personal banking for tech professionals, and discounted HR audits. Programs WTIA ADVOCATES FOR TECH The WTIA provides the community with a direct voice on policy matters and regional promotional projects that are important to the tech sector, namely access to financial and human capital. In conjunction with company membership, employees in member companies have the opportunity to provide feedback around policy positions, influence tech sector policy initiatives, participate in regional promotional efforts, and work closely with elected officials and the WTIA advocacy steering committee. The WTIA Advocates for Tech program provides member companies and their employees with access to regular updates on industry trends, hot topics, and policy issues that impact the sector. WTIA 2

ONLINE COMMUNITY The WTIA offers a unique online community experience that allows technology professionals from around the state, the region, and the world to connect, share expertise, access skills training, and build business connections to help them complete projects, achieve goals, and grow as professionals.. Education Webinars and Content Ever miss an event because of traffic? Too far away to attend? No problem, the WTIA has you covered! The WTIA records, archives, and provides access to its educational offerings through an online catalog and the online community. WTIA Content Through our blogs, announcements, company updates, subject matter insights, video tours, and research, the WTIA produces industry, market, and technical content that keeps you current and plugged in to the technology community. This valuable content is delivered primarily through the WTIA s website, newsletter and event publications. Member-only networking The WTIA member only networking platform allows like-minded individuals who have similar interests and motivations to help each other solve problems, share expertise and access skills training. If you need support, the member only networking platform will connect you with someone that has the right expertise and is willing to help. CEO FORUMS The WTIA s CEO forums connect industry leaders in a safe and trusted environment to build impactful relationships, expand their network, share best practices, and get peer advice on how to deal with their most pressing and confidential business issues. By invitation only. WTIA EVENTS The WTIA offers high quality programming through its in-house event production team. WTIA events have a wide range of programmatic themes that target different segments including executives, managers, technical professionals and any professional interested in technology. Most WTIA events are education focused. They include dedicated time for networking and business development and provide a great platform for company advertising and brand promotion. Tech in Focus WTIA Tech in Focus events keep professionals plugged into the latest industry trends and hot topics in technology. Social & Career Networking The WTIA s networking events provide a great way for technology professionals to have fun and connect with other professionals in their area. TechNW WTIA s annual technology conference brings together the brightest minds and most innovative technology companies in the Northwest. It is the region s high-profile, must-attend forum for learning, business development and networking. WTIA PRIVATE DINNER HOST Available only to our Advocate Level member companies, these highly targeted events provide your organization with intimate exposure to industry, policy, and education leaders. A small group of executives are brought together to share insights, best practices, assess opportunities and risks, and to connect on a personal level in a confidential setting. The member company selects the topic and leaders they would like to invite. The WTIA takes care of the planning, invitations, scheduling, parking, and other logistics. The company pays for the food and hosts the venue. Advertising & Brand Promotion WTIA EVENTS The WTIA offers multiple in-person events. Event advertising is a great way to showcase your organization as a best place to work and gain visibility within the region as an employer. Advertising for WTIA events includes pre-event promotion, in-event signage, and post-event branding through our WTIA 4

Virtual Company Video Tour Do you have an awesome workspace? WTIA membership gives you the ability to share a virtual office tour within our community. We can help you produce it, or you can produce it in house, and we will promote it through all of our channels and post it on our website for continued viewing. Event Hosting Showcasing your office space at a WTIA event provides a powerful branding opportunity for your organization to promote your workplace in conjunction with relevant and interesting educational programming, networking within the technology community, or any kind of event you desire to build your brand. Technology content-focused events will be streamed on the WTIA website for listening during or after the event, extending your brand visibility beyond the event itself. BOARD SEAT WTIA board seats are reserved for Advocate Level sponsors plus selected individuals who offer valuable skill and expertise. Our goal is to maintain a balanced representation of each segment of our industry.
