When an intervention arises with a critical component such as landing gear, operators have the opportunity to rely on a support network that provides fast and effective solutions. Supporting over 25,000 aircraft in service, Safran Landing Systems on-wing support allows you to choose the right level of service required to optimize the in-service reliability of your landing gear. We offer a full range of solutions, encompassing both scheduled and unscheduled work to keep your aircraft in operation. Preventative maintenance plans are also available to further enhance the in-service performance of your equipment and minimize repair and overhaul costs down the line. ASSET LEASING Available parts with flexible solutions Safran Landing Systems deploys a comprehensive landing gear spares pool in order to maximize dispatch reliability for aircraft. Customers can lease replacement gears or LRUs, which they can retain for as long as required while their own hardware is being repaired. As an added option, customers can purchase the leased equipment. PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE Keeping your landing gear healthy through the life cycle Safran Landing Systems also offers preventative maintenance packages to enhance the performance and reliability of landing gear throughout the in-service life cycle. Procedures such as disassembly and re-greasing of dynamic components, plus touching-up of damaged coatings can significantly contribute to maintaining the condition of the landing gear. Using a preventative maintenance regime contributes to reducing out-of-scope costs at overhaul. Airlines can define the level of preventative maintenance and regular servicing that they require. This can include local restoration of protective coating and treatments. INCIDENT SUPPORT Take the unexpected cost out of unexpected surprises Unfortunately incidents during on-ground operations can cause unexpected damage to your landing gear and generate unexpected cost. In addition to our lease pool, Safran Landing Systems offers an Incident Support package to minimize the impact of in-service incidents such as hard landings, towing incidents or runway excursions. A tailored spares pool, minimize costs and shorter repair timescales can be offered to customers under an Agreement with Safran Landing Systems. These benefits include the replacement landing gear, correct configuration availability, substantially reduced lease fees and expedited repair process through Safran Landing Systems MRO network. 03 04

ORDER ENTRY AND TRACKING Through the Safran Landing Systems services portal, customers can track the progress of their order, including component prices, stock status as well as airway bill data. OVERHAUL KITS Safran Landing Systems offers overhaul kits for commercial aircraft programs, such as Airbus single aisle program landing gears, enabling MROs to both simplify maintenance activities and reduce their overhaul costs in one comprehensive package. These kits provide the systematic replacement items required to complete the overhaul including up-to-date maintenance data. DISTRIBUTION Our distribution centers are strategically located throughout the world in the UK, France, USA, Singapore and Dubai to ensure timely dispatch of spares when needed, particularly in an AOG situation. Creating the tools that keep you flying. TURNKEY SERVICES For more than twenty years, Safran Landing Systems has been offering a growing range of turnkey services to support customers that prefer to manage the maintenance of their aircraft equipment in-house. Safran Landing Systems offers a modular approach, ranging from the supply of specific items of equipment through to full-scale project management and installation. Customers can select the support option that best suits the configuration of their landing gear repair activities. TURNKEY MRO SHOPS GSE TOOLING, LANDING GEAR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION TOOLING Safran Landing Systems can assist in implementing turnkey MRO shops, giving the customer the capacity and capability to maintain their own landing gears and components. As an OEM, Safran Landing Systems designs maintenance tooling that optimizes the in-service handling of its products. This tooling is designed at the outset of a landing gear s development program, so that a full range of OEM-produced mechanical, hydraulic and electronic tools is available to customers as soon as it enters service. Over 1,000 part numbers are in stock, with a 2-year warranty, including tools for Airbus, Boeing and ATR aircraft, as well as military planes and helicopters. Safran Landing Systems can advise on specifications, industrial equipment and shop layout. We can also, provide all necessary shop means such as tooling, test benches, electroplating, machine shops, etc. Project management can be handled by either the customer or Safran Landing Systems. To enhance capital investment efficiency, customers may opt to keep only lighter operations such as the disassembly, re-assembly and testing of the landing gear in-house, whilst working with Safran Landing Systems on more complex and machine-intensive operations such as specialized grinding and surface treatments. Ground service equipment, including landing gear removal and installation tooling are available for all equipment manufactured by Safran Landing Systems. First MRO shop implemented by Safran Landing Systems 1994 Working closely with our design office, Safran Landing Systems is constantly refining its tooling to accompany product upgrades and standardize equipment to reduce costs for operators and MRO shops. Most focus on various aspects of hydraulic supplies to the landing gear. Safran Landing Systems also provides a specific bench to test the Boeing 787 electric brakes. Design and manufacture of test benches are adapted to Safran Landing Systems equipment such as landing gear, hydraulic components, etc. 07 08

LEASE AND EXCHANGE To minimize your down time Safran Landing Systems manages a large stock of gears and LRU rotables to minimize down time and maximize air time for airlines. We offer lease and exchange arrangements, for temporary use while your gear is being repaired or full transfer of ownership. Under the lease scheme, a replacement part is provided until your equipment is returned to you. Alternatively, for customers that do not require the same item to be returned, Safran Landing Systems operates an exchange scheme to replace a component or assembly. AIRWORTHINESS APPROVALS For some landing gears, Safran Landing Systems can offer time-continued parts, which provide an ideal solution for those airlines that are planning to dispose of their aircraft in the near- to medium-term and do not require a new part with a full life. Clients benefit from rapid spares availability available when and where they need it. In addition, tailored inventory plans will evolve as customer requirements change. If an airline does not want to have the monthly outgoings associated with pooling, it can sign up to Safran Landing Systems loan and exchange schemes, where it pays for the supply temporary or permanent of spares as and when these are required.
