Page 2 Paul L Ecuyer new Hawaii Chapter President being sworn in by Linda Keller (Hawaii State President) From our Chapter President I am humbled to be sitting in the seat vacated by Luke. I know I have a large pair of shoes to fill, however, I know that the team he has assembled is definitely one of the best of all the various Non Profits which I am fortunate enough to work with in my job. I am excited to build upon the legacy that has been built at the Hawaii Chapter over the decades. I know that membership and funds are always in the cross hairs, however I think the mission statement and direction the local Chapter has taken in trying to be "Relevant" to todays Army sets a far better course. I believe if we stay on that course, the issues of membership and funds will be in our rear view mirror and not in the cross hairs. I have a few ideas to bring to the table over the next several meetings that I hope will encompass a strong commitment to our Active Army, Reserve Components, Families, DA Civilians and Retirees. One Army should be a focus going forward especially with the recent budget disclosures, draw down of our troops both in the Army and the other branches. Thanks for your support in advance. It will be a great 2016 and as we head towards LANPAC and the ARMY Birthday Commemorative Ball. I can't wait to work with you all.
