1 Announcements and Reminders From Wai alae School December 3, 2014 BREAKFAST SERVICE STOPS AT 7:45AM ON DECEMBER 4TH Breakfast service TOMORROW Thursday December 4 - will STOP promptly at 7:45am, so please be in line WELL BEFORE 7:45am if you wish to purchase breakfast that morning. Our normal practice is to serve meals to whoever is in line as of 7:45am. However, for tomorrow only, the last breakfast will be served at 7:45am. This means that even if you are in line at 7:45am, if you are not at the counter yet when 7:45am arrives, you will NOT get served a breakfast. Additionally, the Dining Hall will be cleared at 7:55am tomorrow. We will be preparing the Dining Hall for a performance by the Kaimuki Middle School Music Department and we appreciate everyone s cooperation and understanding. KBPA KAIMUKI CHRISTMAS PARADE - DECEMBER 4TH Thank you to everyone who signed up to participate in the Parade. This year, Parade organizers are requiring each participant to sign a Hold Harmless Agreement, thus walk-ins on Parade day will not be allowed to participate. If you would like to be a Parade spectator, the Parade begins at 6pm at St. Louis School and travels eastbound on Waialae Avenue, until Koko Head Avenue. PARENT-COMMUNITY NETWORKING CENTER CLOSED ON DECEMBER 5TH The Parent- Community Networking Center (room A-3) will be closed on THIS FRIDAY - December 5th. There will be no complimentary coffee or hot water on this day. Coffee can be purchased in the Dining Hall during Breakfast service (7am to 7:45am.) ON-CALL POSITION AVAILABLE AT WAI`ALAE SCHOOL We are currently seeking to hire an oncall substitute classroom cleaner at Wai`alae School. Duties include cleaning (sweeping, mopping, etc.) classrooms after the dismissal bell. If you are interested in applying, or would like additional information, please contact Mrs. Melyssa Quezon, Business Manager, at TRAFFIC MONITOR The Honolulu Police Department is currently looking to hire a Traffic Monitor for our school. This paid position requires one hour in the morning before school and one hour in the afternoon after school on school days. Tuesday December 16, 2014, 7:00a 8:00a Due to a change in Hawaii s recycling procedures the redemption centers are no longer accepting non HI-5 glass and plastics. We will now only be able to collect HI-5 recyclables for this fundraiser. Please continue to rinse the containers and remove the caps.
