Base preparation When buying any garden building, it is necessary to construct a base for your building to be erected onto. This does not need to be elaborate as long as it is level and firm. This can be done by: Slabbed Base If u sin g con crete slabs th en san d wou ld n eed to be laid down first on to firm grou n d. Th e slabs wou ld th en n eed to be bedded in to th e san d makin g su re th at th ey are laid level. All ou r produ cts are man u factu red u sin g qu ality material an d all staff are fu lly qu alified in th e makin g of garden bu ildin gs. All ou r bu ildin gs are pretreated in a water based solu tion ; h owever we recommen d th at you treat th em again immediately after erection an d yearly th ereafter. Floor Bearers Th ese are tan alised treated timber of x, wh ich wou ld be laid u n der th e bu ildin g in th e opposite direction to th e floor joist. Th is en ables a bu ildin g to be lifted off th e grou n d so it is away from an y su rface water an d allows air u n dern eath you r bu ildin g. We also u se a polyester felt wh ich is a better produ ct th an th e stan dard sh ed felt; h owever, th is does n ot gu aran tee we can preven t an y damages du e to adverse weath er con dition s. On any apex and pent shed the quantity of windows would vary depending on door position and door size. Both apex and pent models can be supplied with no windows. 2
