MOUNTING THE BRACKETS The Roller Blind brackets may be installed in Reveal (inside the window frame) or Face (outside the window frame), or ceiling (top) mounted. In all cases, level mounting is critical to the operation of the blind (use carpenters level). Warning: If level mounting is not achieved, telescoping of the material may occur resulting in the material rubbing against the brackets, causing fraying and unnecessary wear. BRICK OR RENDERED SURFACES 25mm Warning: Ensure you drill no closer than 25mm from the edges of these surfaces as you may chip or break out the brick or render. STANDARD/REVERSE ROLL Wall / Window Standard Roll Wall / Window Reverse Roll Before installation, check method of fixing and whether the blind is standard or reverse roll. The fixing of the brackets may be in a horizontal or vertical position with the screws going in either of two directions. 3

PROTECTING YOUR CHILDREN Be aware that it is possible for children to strangle in window covering chains. To reduce the possibility of such an accident, all chains must be kept out of reach of children, including infants. Please refer to diagram below for installing chain tensioners. Installation Instructions - Cord Tensioner All chain operated blinds must be installed with the tensioner that is provided. When installed, the tensioner should hold the chain taut and close to the blind or mounting surface in a way that makes the position of the tensioner fixed and immobile. Face Fix Step 1. Clip the Rubber Wheel onto the Face Fix Back Plate and loop chain around it taking into consideration the positioning of the Chain Drive. Ensure the chain is tensioned and mark the screw position on the wall. Step 2. Unclip the Rubber Wheel (use a flathead screw driver between the wheel and bracket to lever the wheel off, if it cannot be pulled apart by hand) and mount the Face Fix Back Plate to wall using the Screws provided. Mount the screw in the slot first to fine tune position through second location hole. Choose the appropriate fixing method depending on surface. The tensioners are suitable for installation onto the following surfaces: Timber Aluminium Gyprock (Spring Toggle) Brick (Wall Plug) Step 3. Clip the Rubber Wheel onto the Face Fix Back Plate and loop the chain around it. To Conceal the Chain Wheel, clip the Chain Tensioner Cover over the Chain Wheel. Ensure clips are aligned with holes on cover prior to assembly (Cap cannot be rotated once installed). Cover is installed correctly when the two components touch and straight edges are in alignment. Note: Face Fix Chain Tensioner Kit contains 1 x Face Fix Back Plate, 1 x Chain Tensioner Cover and 2 x Pan Phil 6G x ¾ STS Screws only. (Do not use face fit screws for reveal (fit and vise versa). Chains can stretch over time causing the chain to be loose. If the Chain Tensioner cover is removed to retention the chain DO NOT reuse the same Chain Tensioner Cover more than once. This is due to plastic deformation caused when cover is disassembled. 17

Reveal Fix Step 1. Clip the Rubber Wheel onto the Reveal Fix Back Plate and loop chain around it taking into consideration the positioning of the Chain Drive. Ensure the chain is tensioned and mark the screw position on the wall. Step 2. Unclip the Rubber Wheel (use a flathead screw driver between the wheel and bracket to lever the wheel off, if it cannot be pulled apart by hand) and mount the Reveal Fix Back Plate to wall using the Screws provided. Mount the right side first and adjust height to tension the chain, and then secure the tensioner into position through the centre hole. Clip the Rubber Wheel onto the Reveal Fix Back Plate and loop chain around it. To Conceal the Chain Wheel, clip the Chain Tensioner Cover over the Chain Wheel. See comments for face clip. Ensure clips are aligned with holes on cover prior to assembly (Cap cannot be rotated once installed). Cover is installed correctly when the two components touch and straight edges are in alignment. Note: Reveal Fix Chain Tensioner Kit contains 1 x Reveal Fix Back Plate, 1 x Chain Tensioner Cover and 2 x CSK Phil 6G x ¾ STS Screws only. (Do not use face fix screws for reveal fit and vise versa). Chains can stretch over time causing the chain to be loose. If the Chain Tensioner cover is removed to retention the chain DO NOT reuse the same Chain Tensioner Cover more than once. This is due to plastic deformation caused when cover is disassembled. 18
