2 How to assemble your pod Pod assembly onsite is a relatively simple exercise for two people that takes around minutes. Here we ll guide you through the process. First familiarise yourself with the different fixing components, which are labelled A-I below. You will also need the following tools; a 4mm Allen key, a 6mm Allen key, a flat head screw driver, a 10mm spanner, a roll of duct tape and some needle nose pliers. Please note you may have some spare components left at the end, which are supposed to be spares. You may also need to remove the protective covering from some of the larger plastic components. It is recommended that you read through the instructions once in full before starting the build. Fixing Components: A: Track Bearing C: 16mm M6 Bolt E: 30mm M10 Bolt G: M10 Steel Washer I: M4 Nut B: Nut Cap D: 30mm M4 Bolt F: M6 Nylon Washer H: M6 Nut Required Tools: 4mm Allen Key Flat Head Screwdriver Duct Tape 6mm Allen Key 10mm Spanner Needle Nose Pliers

3 1. Bolt the long thin plastic sheet into a tube shape to form the door slider canopy. There are 5 bolt holes and you will need: - 5 x C - 10 x F - 5 x H Note the direction of overlap, the smaller segment of the tube goes on the inside. You will also need to fit the end of the black trim into position once bolted together. 2. Take one of the larger diameter steel rings and position this inside the slider canopy as shown. The steel rings locate onto the white nut caps (B), and the preattached track bearing (A) should be pointing more towards the ground as shown. Note that the small hole in the steel ring must line up with the small hole in the slider canopy as shown.

4 3. Once the small holes are aligned, push a 30mm M4 Bolt (D) through the holes from the outside inwards. Once in position, screw this bolt into Track Bearing (A) in the orientation shown, and secure with an M4 nut (I) using the needle nose pliers. The Track Bearing should bridge the gap in the ring as shown. If a small gap is left between the two ends of the ring this gap can be plugged using M6 Nylon Washers (F) held in position with tape, to make sure the rings are tightly fitted. 4. Now that the first steel ring is in position, turn the slider canopy over and repeat the procedure on the other side so that both rings are fitted, with a total of four Track Bearings (A) in position as shown.

5 4. Next bolt the large flat sheet into a tube shape to form the main pod tube. Note the direction of the overlap and make sure that the metal slider rails are on the outside of the tube. To bolt the main pod tube together you will need: - 5 x C - 10 x F - 5 x H Use a nylon washer (F) on either side of the sheets and with the nut (H) on the inside of the tube as shown. 5. Manoeuvre the main pod tube into an end cap as shown. Once one end of the main pod tube is in place, put the other end cap on the other end of the tube. It is often helpful to place the first end cap against a wall during this process, and it ideally requires two people to do.

6 6. Take the two smaller diameter metal rings and manoeuvre them into position inside the main pod tube as shown here. Each ring will locate onto six white nut caps (B) and will clip into place so that the gap in each ring is at the bottom. If any nut caps (B) are missing, replace these from the spares provided before fitting the rings. Please note the ends of the rings do not join or fix together, but simply brace together through end-to-end pressure. It may help to lever the rings into position with a flat head screw driver. Also note that any white nut caps at the very top of the tube that hold the slider rail are not one of the six location nut caps for each ring, since they are not in line with the others. Once the rings are in position, rotate the main pod tube if necessary so that the slider rails are at the top and bottom.

7 7. Place a roll of duct tape (or similar) under the lower slide rail roughly in the middle. Once supported, carefully remove one of the end caps. 8. Align the slider canopy with the main pod tube as shown. With one person locating the top bearing into the slide rail, and one person locating the bottom bearing manoeuvre the slider canopy onto the main pod tube until all four bearings are located in the slide rails.

8 8. Continued All four bearing in place in the slider rails. 9. Carefully replace the end cap then remove the duct tape and the slider canopy should now slide back and fourth freely.

9 10. Remove the two end discs using a 6mm Allen key, then place the bed base into the main pod tube. Note that the orientation of the bed base should allow the slots in the sides of the bed base to fit over the two metal rings in the main pod tube. Once the bed base is in position, place the white plastic Bed Base End Cover at the foot end of the Bed Base. Bolt the Bed Base down using a 6mm Allen key and: - 4 x E - 4 x G It may be necessary to orientate the bed base, end caps and tube to align the bolt holes and screw the four bolts into place. Once the bed base is bolted down, place the mattress inside the pod and replace the two end discs.

Fit the shelf and magazine rack to the pre-drilled holes in the sides of the main pod tube (this requires one person on the inside of the main pod tube and one person on the outside) using: - 4 x C - 4 x H The nuts (H) should be on the outside of the tube and once fitted cover each nut with a white nut cap (B). 12. Finally, take the two LED lights and using the sticky back Velcro pads provided with the lights, position the lights vertically inside the pod in the positions shown below in blue. Your pod is now complete and ready to use!
