Secure the safety cable to a structural support above the ceiling with the small loop on one end of the safety cable. B. Remove one screw from each of the four corners at the back of the LED panel. Screw one safety cable fitting into each corner of the LED panel. C. Depress the adjustable side-exit cable grip to remove any slack in the safety cable. 3 Red Positive (+) Output Wire (from LED driver) LED Driver in enslosure Black Negative (-) Output Wire (from LED Driver) Crimp Connector or wire nut Ground Wire from Supply Wire Nut Ground Wire from A. Pry up one knockout from the side of the LED driver. Insert the supply wires from ceiling inside of the LED driver. B. By using wire nuts, connect the white supply wire (neutral) to the white input wire (neutral) of LED driver. Connect the black supply wire (line) to the black input wire (line) of the LED driver. Connect the ground wire from supply to the ground wire on the back of the LED panel. C. Secure each wire nut until wires are tightly joined together. Wrap each wire nut connection with approved electrical tape. Red Positive (+) Wire (on the LED panel) Black Negative (-) Wire (on LED panel) 5 Input wires to LED driver LED Driver White Output Dimming Wire (DIM-) from LED driver Blue Output Dimming Wire (DIM+) from LED Driver Wire Nut A. By using wire nuts or crimp connectors, connect the DC output wires of the LED driver to the wires on the fixture. Connect the red positive (+) output wire on the LED power supply to the red positive (+) wire on the LED panel. Connect the black negative (-) output wire of the LED power supply to the black negative (-) wire on the LED panel. B. Secure each wire nut or crimp connector until wires are tightly joined together. Wrap each connection with approved electrical tape. A. Screw wire nut or attach a crimp connector onto each of the unused dimming output wires (blue wire and white wire) on the LED power supply if not connecting a dimming device. These wires are used for dimming functions and need to be capped off with wire nuts if they are not being used. Page 3 of 5
6 Short Screw LED Driver Enclosure 4Using the built-in dimming function on power supply cannot turn the lighting fixture totally off. Refer to the connection method below to achieve 0% brightness (full off) of the lighting fixture connecting to the LED power supply unit. Relay Switch Adjuster 0-100k Ohms resistance/ 1-10V DC Voltage/ 10V PWM Signal A. Carefully tuck all wires and connections inside of the LED driver enclosure. Attach the LED driver and enclosure to the top of the LED panel using the four short screws supplied with the enclosure. Hand tighten until snug. Black White AC/L AC/N DIM+ DIM- V(-) V(+) Blue White Black Red LED Lighting Fixture Dimming Function Connection If you wish to use the dimming function, connect the dimming signal wires from a compatible dimming control system to the "DIM+ (blue wire on the LED power supply) and the DIM-" (white wire on the LED power supply). DO NOT connect "DIM- to "-V". R Optional cable kits required for suspending below a ceiling 2 Ceiling cable 5 Suspension cable kits Ceiling cable Threaded Fitting Ceiling Cable Threaded Fitting A. Take apart the ceiling cable support by unscrewing the lower part (threaded fitting) of the ceiling cable support. 3 A. Screw the threaded fitting with steel cable back onto the cable support and hand tighten until snug. 6 Adjustable Side-exit Cable Grip Hole Wing Screw Suspension cable kits Toggle Bolt Ceiling Cable A. Insert the bolt through the ceiling cable support, thread wing onto toggle bolt. Then fold the wing completely back and insert through the drilled hole on the ceiling until the toggle wing springs open. 4 Wing Toggle Bolt A. Pull back on assembly to hold the wings inside the ceiling to prevent the wings from spinning while tightening toggle bolt. Turn the bolt with the screwdriver until firmly tightened. A. #711000U Square : Remove one screw from each of the four corners at the back of the LED panel as shown. Screw two steel suspension cable kits fittings into these holes. This square LED panel requires two suspension cables on each end of the LED panel #711010U Rectangular : Remove one screw from each of the four corners at the back of the LED panel as shown. Remove one screw from each long side of the panel in the center. Screw three steel suspension cable kit fittings into the holes where the screws were removed. This rectangular panel requires three suspension cables. One cable in the center of panel and one cable kit on each short end of the LED panel. B. Depress the adjustable side-exit cable grip to reach your desired hanging height. LED panel should be level. C. Refer to Installation Method 1 (Step 3-6 and the dimming information) to complete the rest installation. Your installation is now completed and ready to use. Retain this sheet for future reference.
