06 KICKSPACE Before. KICKSPACE The space saving soution. After. Cever by design, the KICKSPACE unit fits neaty within a unit pinth or foor cavity providing a fresh thinking, innovative heating soution. Where traditiona radiators take up precious wa space and restrict design possibiities, the KICKSPACE heater aows freedom to taior your home around your ifestye. Centra heating, eectric and duo modes avaiabe. A units are now suppied compete with a white grie. The KICKSPACE can aso be used aongside the MYSON INNOKO towe rai to provide the perfect drying and heating soution for any kitchen. For information on the MYSON range of towe warmers pease contact Customer Services.

KICKSPACE 07 Effective cimate contro. KICKSPACE works by drawing room air over the heated fins of the unit heat exchanger and projecting warm air back into the room. Contros are situated on the front grie, with the unit having a choice of heating fan speeds (winter setting) as we as a fan-ony (summer setting) operation. Aternativey, a remote contro wa switch can be fitted to centra heating and duo modes for extra contro and convenience.

08 KICKSPACE KICKSPACE Foor mode. KICKSPACE Appications. The kitchen is often where space is most at a premium and the KICKSPACE can deiver the most benefits but equay, the bathroom or haway can offer aternative appications. A versions, except the foor mode, are designed to be instaed horizontay into recessed ocations. They require an adequate suppy of inet air and the axis of the motor must remain horizonta.

KICKSPACE 09 Accessories. Gries. The unit grie and remote wa switch can be customised to suit any room décor with a variety of metaic and coour finish options. The remote room thermostat is suppied white as standard and is suitabe for the 500, 600 & 800 hydronic modes. Remote room thermostat. detais Remote wa switch. 16 System Design for Fan Convectors System Design for Fan Convectors Fan convectors are intended to be connected to centra heating systems in the same way as radiators, and offer advantages and benefits not avaiabe from traditiona emitters. To ensure optimum fan convector performance, great care must be taken to ensure that the choice of unit and the heating system design are considered. The foowing factors must be taken into consideration: Fan convectors shoud ony be used on cosed circuation, two pipe, pump assisted centra heating systems. Fan convectors shoud be correcty sized to match the heat oss requirement of the room with the unit operating at its owest fan speed. The heating system must be capabe of providing sufficient hot water through the heat exchanger. This means that: The minimum pipe size shoud be 15mm. Fan convectors are not suitabe for use on microbore pipe-work. Fan convectors are not suitabe for one-pipe systems. Where the unit is fitted onto a system with other emitters, a separate circuit for the fan convector shoud be considered to ensure an adequate water fow through it. The heating system water temperature must be greater than 43 C in heating mode for the unit to operate (ower temperatures possibe for heat pump appications on wa mounted units). Optimum performance of the fan convector wi require effective baancing of the whoe system. Fan convectors shoud not be used to repace radiators in existing systems uness pipe-work sizing, system design and system baancing can guarantee an adequate fow of water through the fan convector. The maximum working pressure through the heat exchanger is 10 bar (150 b/in 2 ). The maximum aowabe water temperature through the heat exchanger is 90 o C. Wa mounted units shoud be mounted on a fat wa, and stud or partition was shoud be avoided to minimise the possibiity of noise transmission.

18 KICKSPACE Technica Information KICKSPACE Performance Data Hydronic s It is preferabe to seect the mode with an output capabe of maintaining the cacuated heat osses of the room when operating at norma speed. This wi enabe the boost fan speed and the higher temperature differences to be used to greater advantage for rapid warming of the room from cod in excessive conditions. When estabishing the temperature difference, i.e. mean water to room temperature, aowance shoud be made for temperature drop in the system. It is the water temperature at the convector which dictates the output.
