12h00 Lunch at Parque Cerdeira Cerdeira Restaurant is intend to be transformed into a reference from the local gastronomy, due to its localization towards the National Park area. It s a most pleasant place, almost typical with capacity for 100 customers, where you can taste the famous veal from this region as well as the most apreciated codfish, a symbol from the portuguese cuisine. 14h00 Visit to the Museum Etnográfico de Vilarinho das Furnas The Ethnographic Museum of Vilarinho das Furnas was built in 1981 by the Board of Terras de Bouro. Curious is the fact that it was built with stone houses of the village which were submerged in 1972 by the dam. Now there is an exhibition that seeks to honor the people of Vilarinho das Furnas. 14h30 Visit to the Museum of Geira The Museum of Geira, located in the Peneda-Geres National Park, opened in June 2013 and is dedicated to the Roman road between Braga and Astorga, Spain. The county of Terras de Bouro preserves a route with the length of 30 kilometers of this ancient route. The museum is divided into four themed rooms, an auditorium and offices for archaeological studies. Through a chronological board, visitors can still make a 2000-year journey through the Roman acre.
