Range Connectivity Eco-friendly 80km With a single charge range of 80km, the N1S-CIVIC is the ultimate vehicle to explore both urban and suburban environment. With real-time connectivity, the N1S-CIVIC harnesses cloud computing to actively monitor everything from diagnostics to GPS location tracking. The N1S-CIVIC is equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack that is both environmentally friendly and incredibly lightweight.
TECHNOLOGY Material Selection Attention to Detail
Technology Lights ALL LED, PRECISION TUNED The iconic N1S-CIVIC headlamp is more than just a statement. The all-new unibody lamp integrates a daytime running light and standard light that takes advantage of the unique circular LED structure--providing an ultra-wide arc of light for improved vision and safety at night. We have employed a TechnoLED lamp structure that seamlessly integrates a rear light, turning indicators, brake light, and license plate lamp. The structure is both unique to NIU, and more importantly provides an added visibility for night driving.
Technology Motor ROBUST POWER, SMOOTH START We have collaborated with Bosch to develop the N1S-CIVIC motor. With 120 Nm of torque at its disposal, the N1S-CIVIC provides the "get-up-and-go" you need to feel safe on a car dominated roadway. Our proprietary Field-Oriented Control system analyzes real-time energy consumption and instantly adjusts the power output of the motor. Combining front/rear dual-piston disk brakes with an electronic braking system we have been able to reduce the breaking distance by 62% while simultaneously recycling up to 10% of the kinetic energy. Technology Battery Pack ENERGY EFFICIENT AND COMPACT N1S-CIVIC s battery pack uses Japanese-Made Panasonic 18650PF Lithium cells, with a total capacity of 1740 Wh, enabling the 80km range. The battery pack weighs in at only 10 kilograms. Our unique resistance welding design makes it incredibly easy to transport by hand while being tough enough to stand up against daily wear-and-tear. Our proprietary Battery Management System (BMS) is the brain of the battery pack; it precisely calculates remaining battery capacity, controls charge-discharge processes, and protects the battery pack under a variety of conditions. Our post-processing techniques combined with enhanced CNC truing and polishing has allowed us to elevate the swingarm to a new level of aesthetic practicality without sacrificing performance.
Technology NIU App SIMPLE AND SMART The N1S-CIVIC is always connected to the service cloud, allowing riders to monitor data in real-time. The NIU App enables riders to conduct diagnostic checks, GPS tracking, and daily use statistics straight from their mobile devices. Our software has been designed for dynamic system updates, so over time NIU bikes become smarter and more connected.
Technology Manufacturing QUALITY AND PRECISION In 2015 we purchased a 20,000 square-meter German precision manufacturing facility. After transforming the facility to a four production-line e-scooter plant we now have an annual production capacity of 1.5 million units. Our facility is located in Changzhou, Jiangsu, China, considered the leading advanced manufacturing zone in China, with same-day transportation access to Shanghai's sea ports.
