1 PRODUCT SAFETY Volkswagen Passenger Cars High-efficiency technologies are being utilized in Volkswagen Passenger Cars since the mid-2000s. 3 SEAT All SEAT models including Leon, Toledo, Ibiza, Altea XL and Alhambra were awarded 5-stars in the Euro NCAP crash tests. In addition to the four different driving modes, Scania Opticruise Automated Transmission offers Cradle Movement in two different functions which allows precise control at low speeds and helps to get away from the area during maneuver and skidding. Scania Ecocruise is a speed control system which uses the kinetic energy of the vehicle in the best way. The system works with retarder in the Economy Mode of Opticruise. Ecocruise stands out with its positive contribution to fuel economy in road conditions especially where there are lots of ups and downs. New R885 differential, used in vehicles that have been designed to be used especially under severe conditions, is 20% more powerful than R780, whereas 20 kg lighter and reduces operating costs by providing three times more service life with the same load. The new design of gears, bearings and the differential lock ensures more efficient use and longer service life. LED technology, offered as optional, can be used in daytime running lights and signal 3

4 lights. This new technology can also be offered as optional in the rear lights. Low energy consumption and long life of LED lights positively contributes to running costs. LED Lighting technology offers fuel savings of up to 30 liters per year compared to traditional lighting and creates better results in terms of service costs as well as being long-lasting. New ELC Unit - ELC 4 (Chassis Level Control) system is the upgraded version of the previous ELC 3 system. The system is used for checking air suspension and adjusting vehicle height. Hand control device has been renovated and a new sensor has been added to the rear axle in the system. The control unit placed on the rear axle reduces weight and provides saving of cable space. Air valves and slots have been improved and they offer 25% longer service life.
