SUNDAY, MAY 24, 2015 PASTOR S NOTE There is an old saying, You can t tell the players without a program! I am beginning to think we are going to need a program to tell which priest is which. In the course of the past week you have heard that Fr. Greg Lesher will be the new assistant here at St. Thomas More. He was ordained on May 16 along with four other men for the Archdiocese of Denver, including Fr. Joseph McLagan, who is from St. Thomas More parish. Father Joe will be back Mass. Then he will be heading next month to his assignment in Grand County in the mountains. Fr. Doug Grandon will be leaving next month we have just heard that Fr. Mel Thompson will be leaving next month to move to the Gardens of St. Elizabeth in presence here at the parish on that Sunday, June 14. Father Mel has been here longer than he has been in any assignment and bonded with the members of the parish in wonderful ways. Please see his note below. Those who know him well will understand the humor and poignancy of his message. Msgr. Tom THE PARTY S OVER! However, the partying is just beginning. In 2001, I ventured into the land known as the diocese of man who will bring the Broncos to tame other teams. Being here for the last fourteen years has been wonderful and my life has been graced to the top. I shall carry my memories to the end of my life. In June, I will be moving to the Gardens of St. Elizabeth and in my heart you will be there with me. For whatever reason, God has placed me in this parish and I am grateful to each and every one of you for bringing so much joy to me. Reverend Melvin F.
