6 Scripture Study Approach for All Biblical Stories What do you receive from this reading? Who are the characters in the story? What do you imagine about each of the Characters? What is Jesus impression of each of the characters? What is the main lesson of the story? Make up a story that has the same message but is about people in our times. What are the difficulties in doing what Jesus wants us to do regarding the message of this scripture? What should we pray for regarding our lives and this story? How can you avoid doing the wrong thing in daily life? What makes you feel good about this story?

16 John had the chance to follow Jesus in his youth. Jesus was a role model to John. After Jesus death and resur- rection, John continued to preach the Word for others to KNOW Him. Who do you look up to in your life? How do his/her actions give you confidence that he/she is a good role model? Who looks up to you in your life? When you make moral choices, do you think about those who see YOU as a role model? Do you realize those children are in the Faith Formation program at St. Mary? You have been chosen.
