3 Currents New Wednesday Series Pastor Walker is leading a study series, Impacting Your World through Believing Prayer, on Wednesday nights (except First Wednesday) in the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 pm. The focus will be on what can happen when we choose to simply believe Jesus and agree with Him; taking personally His promises and pouring the concerns and interests of our hearts out to Him in humble and honest expressions. The Bible calls that prayer. The title summarizes the study Impacting Your World - Who and what matters to you. Through Believing Prayer - The opposite of repeating memorized words. Bring your Bible and come looking to impact your world! Baptism Service A Baptism Service will be held on Sunday, November 15, at 6:30 pm. College/Young Singles Ministry to Youth ext 215 danaf@alamocity.org College/Young Singles, age 18 to 26, are invited to a Bible Study, Counter Culture. Battles are raging over a number of social issues in our culture. Using biblical foundations, practical illustrations, and personal exhortations, this study is a call to faithfully follow Christ. 4 Currents Kids Crossing Series Sunday Morning Kids Church ext 268 Kindergarten through fifth grade students have begun a new series in Kids Crossing, Deal or No Deal! We are learning what the Bible says about greed, materialism, tithing, and stewardship. Doors open at 10:30 am, after our small group Bible study at 9:30, every Sunday except November 29 which is Family Worship Sunday. First Wed. In Kids Crossing Ministry to Children ext 268 keithg@alamocity.org First Wednesday in Kids Crossing, November 4, will be full of Thanksgiving! Thankful for Jesus, thankful for our Kids Crossing kids, thankful for delicious Frito Pie and Ms. Pam s homemade desserts. At First Wednesday, all kids eat for free! Doors open at 6:15 pm until 8:30 pm. Great food, hallway games, worship and time in God s Word. Bring a K-5th grader you are thankful for. Men s First Wednesday Men s Ministry daleh@alamocity.org Men, come and join us on the back porch for our First Wednesday Men s Gathering, this Wednesday, November 4, at 6:30 pm. We will have a meal ($7), after dinner we will share in some time of fellowship and then Jerry Martinez will bring the Word. See you there! You are invited to join us for a wonderful evening set apart to touch and encourage the heart and spirit of us as women. An evening filled with sweet worship, truth from the Word of God, and a time for genuine fellowship and connection. Come and receive ALL that Father God has in His heart for us girls!
