One of these rooms is entirely given over to the launch of the new Kartell Kids line. The latest product novelties are being presented inside each room, accompanied by the voices of their designers, in other words, Kartell s talking minds. Hall 20 / Stand A15-B14 Kartell by Laufen STAND KARTELL BY LAUFEN/the bathroom project Salone del Bagno, Rho/Pero trade fair complex Kartell by Laufen returns with its stand to the Salone del Bagno while continuing to communicate an extremely coherent and pragmatic message to the international market. The bathroom project comprises a complete offering of furnishings, accessories, sanitary fixtures and tapware, designed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba. Alongside the permanent collection, new moods, new colours and some unprecedented extra large washbasin formats are on display. An open-air gallery for recounting Kartell and its products, with the added glamour of some authoritative names of international photography. From 10 to 23 April Via della Spiga Milano Simonetta Ravizza The Via Montenapoleone shop windows of Simonetta Ravizza will be invaded by iconic Kartell chairs (Louis Ghost and Victoria) to create an ideal backdrop for the launch of the new fourrissima bag by the fur goods brand. Via Montenapoleone 1 Milano Kartell for food Even the world of fine food and wine will flank Kartell at this year s Fuorisalone event Eataly Piazza XXV Aprile Starting from the first of April and scheduled to run for the entire month, the food mall of specialities Made in Italy will lend its central hall to a design installation and has selected Kartell for this initiative. A 6 meter-high structure will be suspended from the ceiling representing Kartell Design icons. Peck The shop windows of the Milanese deli will be set up with two Kartell tables, hung vertically and laid out with the Jellies Family collection by Patricia Urquiola and the I.D.Ish line by Davide Oldani. Triennale Café Everything will be signed by Kartell in the Triennale garden café, which will be back for the fine season with a layout specifically designed for the space where the numerous visitors to the XXI International Exposition will be welcomed. 3
Kartell for the XXI Triennale Kartell s commitment to culture takes the tangible form of a multi-faceted participation in various events associated with the XXI Triennale of Milano. MILANO PAVILION Labor Exhibition. Vermiglia installation A project by Attilio Stocchi A project by the Triennale di Milano and the Milano Municipal Department for Labour Policies, in collaboration with Kartell With this project by the Triennale di Milano and the Milanese Municipal Department for Labour Policies, in collaboration with Kartell, the Milano Pavilion interprets the theme of the XX1T exposition as Labor after Labor. In the Courtyard of Honor of Palazzo Reale, stands a cloud of tubular metal elements Vermiglia an installation by Attilio Stocchi which echoes the noises and sounds of work, present past and future. Kartell has gladly taken part in this project, which stands as a homage to Milan and its industriousness, in other words, its capacity to interpret the industrial system, savoir-faire and the value of design. Key elements which also represent the Kartell philosophy and well describe the city and its vocation for design. Kartell welcomes visitors to Stanze. Altre filosofie dell abitare. The exhibition promoted by the Salone del Mobile Milano to mark the XXI Triennale, and curated by Beppe Finessi, invites 11 architects to express their thoughts on today s interior design. In the first room a constellation of images representing the history of Italian interior design is set up on luminous tables produced by Kartell especially for the event. Kartell partners the entire project associated with design films, together with the Milano Design Film Festival. Starting from the event held in collaboration with the XXI Triennale which will present the Festival on Festival, that is to say, the top international productions dedicated to architecture and design. The first appointment is for 16 April at the Teatro dell Arte and will be followed, each month, by a special showing up until the Milano Design Film Festival in the Autumn. Homage to Anna Castelli Ferrieri with some of her most famous pieces displayed inside the TDM9, entitled W-Women in Italian Design, curated by Silvana Annicchiarico. Starting from 22 April, Kartell will also contribute to the realization of a giant Mickey Mouse, the popular Disney character that has just turned 80, to be personalized by Kartell. 4
Palazzo Reale Kartell s collaboration with Palazzo Reale, implemented last year for the exhibition on Leonardo, continues with a tangible presence at the exhibition dedicated to Boccioni. Boccioni exhibition Palazzo Reale In its dialogue with the city and the Milanese cultural scene, Kartell strengthens the bond it has already established with Palazzo Reale and the cultural ambit by offering a furnishing project to complete the layout of the exhibition dedicated to Umberto Boccioni, celebrating the artist and his works one hundred years from his death. Bagatti Valsecchi Museum Kartell products are an integral part of the permanent exhibition, with chairs donated to the Museum House. Kartell Museum the new project and installation by Stefano Arienti The Kartell museum, which was made over last year, welcomes visitors with a permanent exhibition recounting 65 years of company history through its products, projects, videos and communication materials.
