2 02. EXTRAS MALL elita EXTRAS'MALL, the market more avant-gardism of the design week will offer a contemporary reading of what can be defined maker's design today. LOCATION Extras'mall will develop inside the area Ex Cobianchi, historical space in the heart of the city of Milan, ex diurnal SOCIAL MEDIA TOOL hotel built in the first decades of the Nine hundred, a situated underground jewel in Piazza Duomo. The space Cobianchi will become the head quarter of the Design Week NEWSLETTER: Festival and became an informative point PAX of all the activities of Salone. The entry to the public will be free. During the opening to the public the area will host: Café / bakery, comfort zone, area lounge/comfort, exhibition, live act, performance and FACEBOOK: Elita Soundsystem, collective that unites FRIENDS the strengths of the most representative exponents of Milano's musical scene. 7 04. CALL The focus of Extras'mall for 2015 edition is: Slow Design. "Slow" because it respects the principles base of the design, the ability to find new forms, where form and function are in relationship, for objects without time, beautiful and useful, that don't purely follow the fashions. Projects able to express, in way to plan, quality, creativeness and innovation. A design, been born by an idea, improved through the collaboration and realized on your territory, in full connection with the thematic Expo. 13 10. PRESENTATION AND SELECTION PROJECT DESCRIPTION / BRAND / PRODUCTS IN PDF FORMAT (MAXIMUM 5 MB). DOCUMENT MUST CONTAIN: DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AUTOR/DESIGNER/COLLECTIVE BIO IMMAGES OF PRODUCTS OR RENDERING (5 RAPPRESENTATIVE IMAGES ) VISUALIZATION OF STAGE PROJECT WEB SITE 13
