International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) IAEA was founded in 1957, and has been headquartered in Vienna, Austria since that time. The supreme body of IAEA is the General Conference which meets annually. Its Board of Governors meets more often. IAEA sponsors other conferences and seminars on specific topics as necessary.
