Research & Evaluation - Promoting Entrepreneurship Conference Gotland May 23-25, 2005 at Suderbys Manor House The Glocal Education Business Partnership (GEBP) vision: To promote an Entrepreneurial culture, by bringing together Education, Business and the Community for mutual benefit and support. Emphasis will be laid on developing a strategy to disseminate the outcomes of the Project throughout the European Union. The strategy of the conference: The Conference will be action-centred with participants being highly involved in analysing the Gotland Entrepreneurial Safari and Best Practice cases in the context of the Theoretical Model of "Enterprise/Entrepreneurship Education". These analyses will form the basis for finalising the outcomes of the GEBP Network. The aims of the conference: Develop the understanding of the theoretical model for "Enterprise/Entrepreneurship Education" Extend partnerships between education and business life. Link the "Enterprise/Entrepreneurship Education" theoretical model to the Gotland Safari and selected Best Practice cases. Focus on the importance of the Best Practice database. Create an action plan for promoting Enterprise/Entrepreneurship Education on a regional basis. Agree the format of the final report of the GEBP network. Consider Gotland in perspective. Work related learning a Strategy for Entrepreneurial based Teacher Training Conference Gotland Package 1c - Initial Teacher Training Programmes May 26, 2005 at Gotland University Visby This conference is related to the previous conference concerning Research & Evaluation - Promoting Entrepreneurship carried out on Gotland, May 23-25, 2005 The conference is a part of package 1c Initial Teacher Training Programmes in the GEBP network. The aim of the package is to influence and support the teacher training systems to create models of different types of entrepreneurial education. The Conference is organised in collaboration between Stockholm Institute of Education, Åbo Akademi University, Vasa and Gotland University. The aims of the conference are to investigate in which extent teacher training is engaged in entrepreneurial educational activities not only within the 19 partners participating in the GEBP project but within European Union as well. Some best practices will be presented at the conference.
