Technical Requirements Devices Supported This app requires Android 4.4 (KitKat) or higher and will run on any device that supports this OS. SharePoint Platforms Supported Connectivity is supported for the following editions of SharePoint: SharePoint 2010 SharePoint 2013 SharePoint Online (Office 365) SharePoint Security and Privileges By using SharePoint s web services to access SharePoint data, Colligo Briefcase for Android respects all privileges defined on the site. Colligo Briefcase for Android supports most standard sign-on processes supported by SharePoint, including support for default credentials and other specified credentials. Passwords are stored in the keychain. Colligo Briefcase for Android supports Claims-based and Forms-based authentication, as well as ADFS. SharePoint by default does not provide web service permissions to anonymous users, so this permission level cannot be used for uploading documents to SharePoint. 3

If you have never navigated to a location within Briefcase for Android, then that location is not visible to external apps. You will not be able to upload to this location from external apps, and you won t be able to share files in this location from external apps. KitKat Issue: App crashes on Background Sync. Users adding a new file to SharePoint using Briefcase for Android will not be able to edit Metadata. When the Sync over Wi-Fi setting is enabled and a user attempts to add a site over 3g/4g, the Site addition error will be displayed. Workaround: Navigate out and come back into the folder where the file was uploaded. Press Sync Here to sync the file. Progress bar does not stop moving after pressing Stop Sync. Adding a site as Pinned Location in Colligo Console with a Favorite policy does not push down the site as a Favorite. 4
