1 Introduction - Advice The conductor rail 0815 PE with polarity protection PE plus features a larger contact width for the current collector head than the standard conductor rails 0815. Due to this special feature the grounding collector (PE) current collector head cannot intervene in a phase (PH) conductor rail. This solution will safely prevent accidental energizing of the phase voltage to the PE pole and the improper utilization of the PE current collector as phase current collector! This technical data sheet describes all necessary standard components for the construction of a conductor rail of program 0815 SingleFlexLine with PE plus - polarity protection for the installation in monorail systems (EMS) and similar applications. It serves as a supplement to the existing catalogs. The PE rail system of existing conductor rail systems SingleFlexLine 0815 can be refitted. All that needs to be replaced are the existing PE rails, end caps and the PE current collectors. The hanger clamps and the PH rails must not be replaced. The existing current collectors can be operated in the new PE rail, so that a gradual reconstruction of the existing current collectors can be realized. 5 Air Gap Insulation Section The air gap insulation sections with polarity protection differ from the component without polarity protection by the adaptation of the end caps. The end caps for the grounding connector (green) have a larger contact dimension for the wide PE plus collector shoe. The phase caps have additional carbon guidance in the lateral part of the caps. 10 Current Collectors The PE current collectors with polarity protection PE plus differ from the standard current collector by a wider carbon shoe and a codification lug at the snap-in fixation. A notch is provided here at the PE installation position of the counterpart, the mounting plate. In case of a retrofit exchange the mounting plate or apply a notch.
