The 8500 module contains all of the necessary circuitry for complete power line compliance with aeronau cs specifica on RTCA/DO 60G and Boeing's D6 36440(C)*. It is a pin for pin and form fit compa ble drop in replacement for the popular 8075E PFC boost module. Constructed using thermal circuit board technology and planar magne cs, these low profile (0.5" height) modules are compact and rugged. Providing line rec fica on, minimized input current harmonic distor on, ac ve inrush current limi ng and near unity power factor; the 8500 is ideal for avionics applica ons where power demands are in the 5W 50W range. The 8500 provides a standard 360Vdc output, compa ble with a broad range of off the shelf DC/DC converter modules. U lizing a modular approach, system power supplies are easily configured with a few individual components required. Tedious design and development cycles normally associated with custom power solu ons are no longer necessary with this approach.
