Emergency and Information Terminals The emergency and information terminals give passengers the opportunity to get information and to call for help in case of emergency situations. The main features of the emergency and information terminals are: Robust and attractive stainless steel housing for ground or wall installation Customer specific design Resistant against vandalism Barrier-free design according to DIN normative 124 various communication technologies possible (analog, ISDN, VoIP, GSM, GSM-R) Optimized free communication lines Programmable direct dial buttons Functional buttons with optical, acoustical or tactical signaling features Roof top with maintenance free LED light and integrated flash light Optional with anti-graffiti coating The emergency and information terminals are built in a modular way. Modules can be exchanged very fast locally in case of maintenance situations. The pillar housing is structured in 3 sections: The pedestal is grinded and painted optionally The section pillar with control panel consists of back part and door (Stainless steel, coated, foil covering, anti graffiti coating). The section roof top is available in 2 different versions: - Stainless steel (grinded or colored) with the marking (e.g.: SOS) behind a plexiglass surface, lighting is integrated - Complete plexiglass quadrant with integrated lightning marking with sticker or fixed color print The emergency and information terminals are available partly with solar energy, main supply 230 V AC or with battery. Security terminals The security terminal is used as mobile or fixed device in security relevant areas in industry, in building areas or during big events. The communication with any other line (central office) and the alarming in case of damages, fire or necessary first aid are the main functions of the security terminal. The modular mechanical design and many variants for configuration allow the easy adaption to any given infrastructure. As basis you have a stable housing made of grinded stainless steel. The front side consists of 3 sections: The lower part is for the socket. The middle section consists of the function elements according to a configuration variant. - Help for the module: consists a mounting plate - Module Communication: with audio elements (speaker, microphone) those devices are behind an audio bar, (perforated metal plate made of grinded stainless steel), confirmation elements with lighting, acoustic and vibration and LED display. The top sector is a status or information field. It is equipped with a lighted area or pictogram. The lighting can either be done with LED lighting (with flash feature) or xenon lighting. In this area the sound generator is also installed. As feature components there are communication units that are used, that are based as GSM or VoIP version. Looking at energy supply of the security terminals there are the following possibilities: Solar energy supply Main supply 230 AC Battery supply It is also possible to combine some of the single kinds of supply depending on the need of energy. Solar energy supply can either be installed on the back side or when a combined set up is done on the sides of the pillar. GSM communication terminals GSM-R communication terminals can be used universally and can also be integrated in already existing wired emergency terminal systems. The advantages of GSM communication terminals are especially that it is not necessary to invest in wiring, since solar energy supply and battery packs can be used for wired systems as well. The plastic housing is especially designed for the use on rail networks of trains. Above that there are also stainless steel housing for ground or wall installation. In using the GSM-R communication terminals it is possible to communicate within the entire railway network. They also make it possible to communication between the GSM-R communication terminal and any other remote station (i.e. emergency center, movements inspector, train conductor or operating centre). The plastic and stainless steel housing can be divided in 2 parts: In the top part there are the operating panel and the electronic unit with - Hands free speaking - Buttons for programming - Optical display of the status of calling with LED - Integrated digital storage for audio files for programmable texts for announcements for local use of acoustic announcements, announcements to calm passengers or general information The bottom part consists of the installation area for the energy supply unit. Plastic and stainless steel housing are available for solar energy supply, main supply 230 V AC or with battery packs.
