Part of my responsibility was to monitor condition of subsea manifolds, connectors, choke modules, valves, Xmas tree, control modules, umbilicals, pipelines, barriers, subsea control systems and injection facilities. I was also involved in activities related to the handover and completion of subsea equipment belonging to the Snøhvit LNG project where, among other things, I was responsible for carrying out SIT testing of Xmas trees, subsea control modules, and choke-bridge modules. As a subsea control system engineer, I was responsible for an analysis of a problematic communication system, and an investigation initiated to determine any possible reduction in pressure holding capacity for infield umbilicals used at Tordis. ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCES Over the last few years, I have been responsible for management and follow-up of a number of contracts and projects. From my work in Centrica, I have gained experience with organisational development and responsibility for employer-employee relationships. Guiding and management of human resources to ensure high quality delivery feels like a natural part of my daily work. I am familiar with partner operated licences, and I have experience from both technical and management committees. I am holding an engagement as member of the board for a small Norwegian consulting engineer company called Engineeringen AS, and I a member of the board for Statoil Tool Pool. At NTNU, fall 2003, I was the manager of a project where we designed and implemented a control system using ABB ControlIT. In this project I was responsible for the overall design, schedule, and the allocation of job cover plan for 15 fellow-students. In a student festival, called UKA-01, I had the responsibility for hiring agreements, transportation, storage, parking and management of human resources. When I worked as a project manager at Trio Maskinindustri, I was responsible for coordination, administration, and budgeting of standing orders. To some extent, I also had responsibility for management of human resources. I am recognised as a systematic and professional team-player, and I feel comfortable with decision making. I put high expectations to myself and find it rewarding to help other succeed in their work. TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCES I have always been very interested in all kinds of technology. Over the years, I have gained insight and experience in a number of disciplines such as flow assurance, hydrodynamics, mechanics, control systems, metering, and asset operation.
