MID AFTERNOON 2 tsp. EVOX Detox Liquid Cleanse. DINNER 1 piece of grilled fish* (approx. 200 g) with steamed free vegetables. You may include spices. * Vegetarians may substitute with 200 g of tofu. 2 tsp EVOX Detox Liquid Cleanse. Repeat the EVOX 5 Day Detox Diet consecutively for 5 days. EATING FOR A HEALTHY BODY WATER The body consists mostly of water therefore it makes sense to consume at least 8 glasses of water a day (a minimum of a litre per day is recommended ). FRUIT In essence all fruit is good for you. Fruit contains high levels of water which helps you hydrate. High levels of anti oxidants which will cleanse toxins and high levels of fibre which keep your digestive system clean. HIGH FIBRE VEGETABLES Vegetables that are mostly made of non absorbing fibre wont add calories, however they do supply very necessary conditioning anti oxidants and help to remove impurities in the lymphatic system. This also feeds you with excellent nutrition. HEALTHY BODY So what does it take to eat healthfully? A successful diet plan doesn t just mean skipping the side of fries or shunning dessert after dinner. TO REALLY SEE RESULTS, YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK ABOUT EATING ENTIRELY. 8 If your goal is to lose weight, it is essential to control the amount of carbohydrates you consume. Evox doesn t advocate an extreme low carb diet because a body needs adequate amounts of carbs to fuel muscle. It is recommended that you avoid the refined kind, which include all the white flours - instead, look for the slow release kind, such as brown rice or peas. 40% of your diet should consist of healthy/good carbs. Foods like fruits, vegetables and whole grains (and very little junk carbs: including white flour, white rice, pasta and of course, cookies, candy, soda and the like. A further 40% percent of your daily calorie intake should be based on good sources of protein, such as lean meats, fish, poultry, egg whites and vegetable based protein such as tofu. Finally, the remaining 20% of your daily calories should come from healthy fats, such as olive oils, certain vegetables, and other non-animal choices. Fats may sound like the enemy, but they are required for many important bodily functions such as protecting the nerves. Refer to sample menu plans as well as fruit, vegetable, protein, fat and carbohydrate list of choices. 9

FOODS WHICH CAUSE DEGENERATION AND PREMATURE AGING Sugar. Milk (especially homogenized milk) and cheese. White flour. Microwaved food. Artificial sweeteners (especially aspartame / nutrasweet. Processed foods. Artificial Colorings. Additives. Mono-sodium glutamate (MSG). Preserved meat. Moderate to high levels of meat. Margarine. Hydrogenated oils. Deep fried foods. Meat and eggs raised by normal methods which have many toxins and hormones. FOODS WHICH CAN HELP REGENERATION AND ANTI-AGING Water. RAW nuts, seeds, soaked and sprouted grains. Fruit and vegetables especially sprouts. Green leafy vegetables. Legumes (bean and Seeds. Seaweed. Wheat-grass juice. Barley greens. Aloe Vera. Antioxidants (eg. vitamin C, vitamin E, pycnogenols, coenzyme Q10). Olive oil. Evening primrose oil. Foods with omega 3 fatty acids (eg. flaxseed oil) and Foods with omega 4 & 5 fatty acids (eg. evening primrose and fish oil). Also gentle sunlight (vitamin D) and gentle exercise. 10 11

Try to eat the colors of the rainbow of fruits and vegetables, with at least 2 servings of fruits and 3 servings of vegetables on a daily basis. FOR EXAMPLE: choose tomatoes, tangerines, peppers, celery, carrots, blueberries (blue), eggplant and zucchini. THESE FOODS ARE RICH IN VITAMINS AND OTHER ANTIOXIDANTS TO HELP KEEP YOU HEALTHY.
