SINCE 1945 UNINDUSTRIA REGGIO EMILIA, IS AN ASSOCIATION THAT HAS BEEN REPRESENTING BUSINESSES IN REGGIO EMILIA SINCE 1945.

ART, MUSIC, DANCE CULTURE MECHANICS FASHION EDUCATION AGRICULTURAL MANUFACTURING SERVICES POWER FOOD REGGIO EMILIA: IMPORTANT INDUSTRIAL SYSTEM Reggio Emilia, located in the heart of the main Italian manufacturing area, is the ideal city for finding new business opportunities and establishing or reinforcing strategic international partnerships through a very dynamic industrial system. The most significant sector of the province is the mechanical/mechatronics industry, but the fashion, food, ceramics, construction and plastic processing fields are also vital. Recent figures attribute a strong export vocation to the production system in Reggio Emilia. Small and medium sized enterprises based on personal and family capitalism with a strong international vocation constitute the fundamental core of the local production system. Flexibility, vivacity and inventiveness are the best qualities of a business model that has also become a point of reference for other countries.

Reggio Emilia: a place of knowledge and innovation Reggio Emilia companies have a strong focus on innovation, through continuous research and the development of new products and solutions. The Reggio Emilia Technopole is located in the area, a centre of mechanical and mechatronic, construction, agri-food, energy and environmental research, which works in connection with the local university to supply practical skills for the development demands of companies, acting as a start-up and spin-off incubator. Through the Technopole, which belongs to the HTN High Technology Network of the Emilia Romagna Region - businesses are put in contact with private and public research laboratories and can share know-how and technology and activate networks and partnerships.

Located in the area of the historical Officine Reggiane company, the Technopole is adjacent to the Loris Malaguzzi International centre, the home of the Reggio Approach, combining research and application in the field of education. Its inclination towards innovation and commitment to learning and education are combined with an increasing focus on communication and arts, making Reggio Emilia an interesting city, rich in cultural opportunities.
