2 Biennale 2015 Art Dance Theatre Cinema Music La Biennale brings a decisive impulse to the activities in its Educational programme and thereby confirms its attention to the younger generations, to their familiarity with the arts and with the Biennale as an institution in particular. The goals of the Educational activities are: To promote a meaningful relationship with its own public and a direct knowledge of the world of the arts; To encourage a visit to the Biennale as a place for personal growth, as an element of the family vocabulary for the new generations in the city of Venice, in the Veneto region and more in general throughout the territory; To foster a growing interest in schools for creative doing as an integral part of educational programmes for young people. La Biennale, by its very nature a place open to encounter and experimentation, wishes to offer opportunities in this perspective for schools, families, scholars, enthusiasts, professionals, companies and universities. This year our programme will enjoy the support of FILA-Giotto, official colour of la Biennale s workshops, and of the Chamber of Commerce of Venice. Line/colour/surface workshop Analysing and elaborating the Exhibition themes through these three basic elements of drawing and graphics. Form mobility workshop Examining and elaborating the Exhibition contents through form construction and deconstruction processes.

Multidisciplinary Programmes and Workshops FOR NURSERY SCHOOLS, PRIMARY SCHOOLS, MIDDLE SCHOOLS AND HIGH-SCHOOLS Art&Music Workshops (October 1st>17th) Investigating the relation between the languages of visual arts and music, by listening, acting, using one s voice and music instruments. These workshops may be enriched by a conversation with a musician and by attendance of a Biennale Music Festival concert (concessionary fees) Art&Tanztheater Workshops (November 3rd>15th) Relating to visual art through gesture and movement, reinventing scenaries, reconstructing worlds, exploring and experiencing body and movement as means of expression and bearers of information. Presentations at School Venues FOR HIGH-SCHOOLS Presentations of the Exhibition themes and projects with clips, images and sound recordings. Special Art Schools Programmes Interactive activities, focusing on art s vital and expressive potential. Open Days for School Teachers* Free presentation days at the Exhibition venues, addressed to teachers from all kinds of schools,focusing on the educational potential of the 56th International Art Exhibition (available in Italian and English).
