In the 1 half of 2013 components industry export was almost aligned to the same period of 2012 (- 0.4%), keeping a positive trade balance of 4.1 Bn (-1% on the 1 Semester of 2012) 4

5 Italian automotive Cluster in Russia AIMS OF THE PROJECT The project aims to create a cluster of Italian companies operating in the automotive sector, interested in starting an investment in a Russian industrial areas of most interest to the sector (in a special Economic Zones) to serve OEM customers (in the case of the components industry) or to produce for the local market and neighboring countries (other automotive). PARTIES INVOLVED ANFIA, with some national institutional partners and with the help of the Russian authorities, it is an interface of the companies in the process of scouting the area and of negotiating the terms of localization with Russian counterparts, as for example: set of incentives (tax, hiring staff, etc.), land cost, construction industrial sheds, costs of electrical energy, infrastructure PROGRESS OF THE PROJECT The project was launched March 12, 2013 in Turin during a special seminar "Focus Russia". The project was also presented at the "International Conference on the needs of OEMs in Russia and settlement strategies" held in Turin May 15, 2013 by Napak. Were collected the first expressions of interest for the project: - 22 companies of which: - 11 companies interested only direct exports - 10 companies interested in FDI, M & A, Greenfield - 8 companies have already evaluated an area of interest (mainly Samara-Togliatti 5
