MBA in the USA The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at EWU welcomes students from all over the world. Recent graduates and current participants in the program include representatives from Asia, Africa, Europe, Canada, the Middle East and Latin America. EWU s MBA program prepares graduates to make an immediate impact on their current career or to prepare for a new career. Students are given unique opportunities to apply business theory and practice to real-world experiences through case studies, internships and collaborations with regional businesses. MBA courses meet once a week in the evening. The MBA degree consists of 48 credits of course work: 40 credits of core courses and 8 credits of electives. Classes are small, typically 25 students or less, which allows for significant interaction between faculty and students. Our MBA program at EWU is AACSB accredited which ensures you the best graduate business education available. We offer a targeted curriculum above and beyond many traditional MBA programs by ensuring proficiency in the following areas: Accounting Analysis and Decision Making Critical Thinking Executive Level Communication Financial Analysis Managing and Leading Employees Strategic Objective and Policy Establishment Tactical Marketing Planning and Execution Graduate Assistantships Each year we offer a limited number of Graduate Assistantships. Through these positions we waive tuition in exchange for 20 hours per week of work in the MBA office. These are awarded on a competitive basis and begin each fall quarter for three consecutive quarters. This provides excellent work experience and helps establish a solid network for future career opportunities. Faculty Eastern s MBA faculty are nationally and internationally renowned scholars with strong ties to the local community. They stay current in their specialties by conducting research and writing textbooks and scholarly articles that contribute to new trends in business theory and practice.
