Before Getting Started, You should always backup the app folder in your root Magento folder. (To do this, you will need to have FTP access credentials.) Gather the admin login credentials for your Magento store, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Bing Adwords, Twitter and Facebook. Step 1 From the glew.io homepage, click on the Free Trial button located in the top right corner of the screen. Step 2 Enter your personal information onto the Get started with your account screen and then click the Create Account button located at the bottom of the pop up window.
Step 3 Enter your company s information. Note: Company Domain refers to just your domain (i.e.. yoursite.com) and not your URL (i.e. https://www. yoursite.com). Once your information is complete, please take a moment to review the Terms and Conditions. Once you have read through the terms and conditions, check the box to indicate that you accept the terms and conditions. Step 4 Once you have agreed to the Terms and Conditions, a blue Submit button will appear at the bottom of the Company Information pop up window. Click Submit.
Step 5 A pop up window will appear alerting you that a confirmation email has been sent to your inbox. Step 6 Click on the blue button to verify your email.
Step 7 Select Magento as your ecommerce platform by clicking Magento. Step 8 Download the Magento extension by clicking the Download the Extension link.
Step 9 Locate the folder App located in your downloads folder. Step 10 Expand the downloads folder.
Step 11 Locate the root directory of your website and select it as your destination folder. Then, locate the app folder, right click and select Upload App. Step 12 Return to app.glew.io and click on Yes, Continue.
Step 13 The Add Store Configuration screen will appear. Open a new tab and login to your Magento Admin Panel. Step 14 Click on the Systems tab. Scroll down on the left navigation panel until you see Glew.
Step 15 Click on Glew > Service. Step 16 Click the down arrow to expand Glew Settings.
Step 17 Select Yes from the enabled drop-down field. Step 18 Highlight and copy your secret key.
Step 19 Paste your secret key, and make sure you enter your store URL exactly as it appear in the URL address bar. (You must include http://) Step 20 Click Save and Continue.
Step 21 Now, it s time to connect other data sources. Click on Google Analytics. Step 22 Select the Google Account that you wish to connect to Glew and click Add Account.
Step 23 Click Allow. Step 24 Enter your Google Analytics Profile ID (an example is shown on the right side) and click Save Settings.
Step 25 Google Analytics should now appear as Ready to Sync. Step 26 Click on Google Adwords to integrate.
Step 27 Select the appropriate Google Adwords account and click Add Account. Step 28 Click Allow.
Step 29 Select the account you would like to integrate and click Save Settings. Step 30 Google Adwords should now read Ready to Sync.
Step 31 Click on Bing Ads and login to your Bing Ads account. Click Sign In. Step 32 Click Yes to allow access.
Step 33 Select your Bing Ads Account ID and Customer ID from the drop-down boxes and click Save Settings. Step 34 Bing Adwords should now read Ready to Sync.
Step 35 Click on the Facebook icon to begin the Facebook Ads integration. Step 36 Login to the Facebook account that you wish to integrate.
Step 37 Click Okay. Step 38 Click Okay to allow Glew to access your Facebook Ads.
Step 39 Check each of the What You Allow selections. Click Okay. Step 40 Enter your Facebook Profile name (example: mistyscompany.com) and Optional Ads Account ID.
Step 41 Facebook should now show as Ready to Sync. Step 42 Login to the Twitter Account that you would like to integrate with Glew. Click on Authorize App.
Step 43 Select Not Now to disallow the use of this Twitter account in other applications. Step 44 Select the Twitter Account you would like to integrate with Glew. Click Save Settings.
Step 45 Verify that all apps you wish to integrate show as Ready to Sync and then select Skip This Step. Step 46 When you are ready to sync your data, click Sync All Data Now. We suggest that you sync your data during a low-traffic time. Pulling data from your ecommerce platform will use some of your store s resources.
