All learners enrolled in the Certificate III in Children s Services will be required to complete written assessment tasks, as well as workplace assessment tasks. An Assessor may also call you to have a competency conversation, which will be based on strategic questions, to fill any gaps. Empower College will appoint each learner with an Assessor who has the relevant qualifications and has significant experience in both the early childhood section and vocational training sector. Off the job assessments will enable you to provide evidence of the essential skills and knowledge across the areas outlined in the range statement. Empower College trainers will provide you with feedback regarding your assessments. Both written and practical assessments have marking sheets to be completed. If you have not met competency, you will receive feedback and guidance and have the opportunity to resubmit the assessment, note you will be given 3 attempts.
