T.V. & Broadcast Media Students Reach Semi-finals L Anse Creuse High School North students Nick D. and Lauren M., made it to the semifinals of the Courageous Persuaders for their creation of a 30-second video centering on the dangers of underage drinking. It s quite an honor to be chosen as only 60 videos nationwide were selected for the semi-finals out of over 700 entries said Mr. Kaufman, TV and Broadcast Media teacher. The final contest winner will be announced by Fox 2 News at the awards ceremony held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. The winning student receives a $3000 scholarship, and the honor of having their video highlighted on CourageousPersuaders.com, have their video shown in select Secretary of State branch offices throughout Michigan. She fights for perfection in her work, and expects the same from those who work with her. Breana is one of the hardest working students and certainly one of the most prolific videographers this year.
