As Compliance Systems and Services Coordinator (CSSC) you will help to provide compliance service provision to the UK college network to facilitate a culture that is responsive to change and adaptive to compliance pressures on the network. The CSSC will support the UK compliance function as an integral part of the corporate service provision. Key Result Areas: Scope of Responsibility Profile The CSSC will be responsible for supporting the direction and management of the Compliance Systems and Services function in the UK. The CSSC will be responsible for acting on and implementing major decisions affecting the work of the Compliance Systems and Services function. The CSSC will be required to act on his/her own authority or on the authority delegated from the EGM and DCS and must, as required, be able to justify decisions taken. Delegated Authority Authority to act within delegations as prescribed by the current Navitas Limited Board as enforced through the EGM and the DCS. Extent of Authority The position operates within broad operational parameters as set by the EGM and relevant policies and procedures as imposed by the Board of Directors of Navitas Limited. Authority to promote and execute decisions taken by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Senior Management Team (SMT) of Navitas UK across the UK college network. Authority to act within delegations as prescribed by the current Board directives and directed by the EGM.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties The CSSC is expected to undertake a range of duties including: Compliance and Registry Management Data analysis and commentary on metrics impacting the HTS statistics of the business Provide Navitas UK with efficient and effective registry and compliance services inclusive of policies and procedures compliant with Home Office and other related guidelines Provide advice on the compliance activities and performance of the UK operations Prepare accurate, timely and useful management information including monthly compliance updates and other information for the MCSS Provide appropriate compliance support to each Business Unit Assist in preparing working papers for external compliance audit purposes for lodgement within agreed deadlines Learn and understand the HTS compliance regime in which we operate providing guidance and support to the MCSS and becoming a specialist in agreed areas Help to support internal audits in conjunction with the Group Risk Management function Support Navitas Group compliance projects and initiatives Build relationships with the marketing and admissions teams in the colleges Support the provision of administrative services to provide effective services to students 4. Performance Appraisal The Compliance Systems and Services Coordinator will be required to participate in an annual appraisal and review process. The process will involve working with the Director of Corporate Services and Manager Compliance Systems and Services to develop a Performance Appraisal Action Plan (PAAP) inclusive of performance metrics that are specific to the individual as well as generic Navitas Limited metrics. The outcomes of the appraisal process will be instrumental in determining any salary change and or continuation in the role. Any other duties as required by the DCS or MCSS.
