Sponsorship Technical specification

Sponsorship 1. The sponsorship is a graphic customer identification located on the top expandable bar and the bottom bar on all pages within the site. 2. The sponsorship graphic design is prepared by Onet.pl based on the materials received from the advertiser. The arrangement of the sponsorship elements should be adequate to the guidelines specified below. It is possible for the advertiser to prepare the design. However, it must be each time approved by Onet.pl and must meet the conditions contained in the specification. Onet.pl is also responsible for programming whole sponsorship. 3. There are several sponsorship versions, which depends on webpage: a) new webpages: width: 1140px, 980px lub 770px b) old webpages: width 620px 4. The top bar before expanding is 100px high and static graphics (jpg, gif) must be used. Its width equals 980px or 770px (it depends on service). Area dedicated to branding is marked and dimensioned in pictures below 5. If the menu bar is located along the top edge of the browser window (e.g. Wiadomosci, Sport), top bar width is 1140px or 980px (it depends on browser dimensions and users screen resolution). After clicking on the expand button ( ROZWIŃ ), the sponsorship bar expands to 310px height. Width is the same as top bar width on particular webpages: a) 1140px - if the users screen resolution is less than 1024px webpages is resizing to 980px width, so the left part of the copy (160x210px) should not contain any essential branding elements. The top graphic bar before expanding must look as follows: a) It must have the SERVICE SPONSOR inscription placed in the upper right corner, written in capitals, Verdana, 9 pt sizes, and the last letter of the inscription cannot be more than 100px away from the right edge. The string must be clearly visible, in a colour contrasting with the creation background; b) an exclusion zone must be maintained around the Onet logotype and the service name (see pictures 1-4). The exclusion zone must not contain any sponsor's/advertiser's branding elements. 5

c) if the webpage contains search field an exclusion zone of 75x25px must be located directly above the SEARCH button, which is situated next to the right edge of the webpage horizontal navigation bar. The exclusion zone cannot contain any sponsor's/advertiser's branding elements; d) it must contain the EXPAND button (or a different button with an equivalent content) its suggested location is the upper right corner of the bar and its suggested size is 70x30 px; e) it should contain no more than one graphically consistent element, one baseline, one sponsor's logotype or a product image as an alternative (only if agreed upon with Onet in advance f) it must not contain the website address of the sponsor's/advertiser's s/advertiser's phone number g) sponsor logo or product image cannot be larger than the Onet logotype; the baseline font size cannot be larger than 24pt; h) it is not allowed to use operational elements whose function resulting from their form, label or convention is incompatible with their message, or operates abnormally, e.g. clicking on the expand button should expand the advertisement and not redirect the user to the campaign landing page. 11. The top bar after expanding must look as follows: a) it must contain the FOLD button (or a different button with an equivalent content) its suggested location is the same as in the case of the EXPAND button; b) it should contain all exclusion zones c) there are no restrictions as regards the size of the customer's baselines or logotypes; d) it may contain: static graphics, video player, photo gallery or any flash animation 12. The bottom bar width is 980px, 960px (it concerns webpages in new layout e.g. Facet, Ofsajd, Kobieta), 770px or 620px and 50px high, while the distance from the footer should equal 10px. 13. The materials to be displayed on bars should be delivered in the PSD format (in layers), along with the fonts used. If a video player, a photo gallery or a flash animation is to be embedded in an expanded top bar, swf files should be provided, along with the FLA source files and the fonts used. 14. Static replacement graphics should be provided in the form of a bitmap for the top bar (both folded and expanded) and the bottom bar, to make it possible to display sponsorship creations on the devices that do not support flash graphics. 15. The total weight of the folded top bar and the bottom bar must not exceed 300kB. After expanding, it may progressively download more materials to reach the total size of 3.5 MB. Sponsorship orship with video 1. The video player may not appear before the bar is expanded. 2. The movie can be played automatically after expanding the bar or can be user initiated. There is nor weight neither time restriction concerning movie. 3. Required materials: a) Video in following files format: AVI, MPEG, MOV or WMV b) Onet prepares one version of the movie with the 600K stream bitrate. c) Movies prepared by advertiser should be compressed to FLV format, using 2-pass VBR method, by means of Sorenson Squeeze (R) application (http://www.sorensonmedia.com/pages/?pageid=3 http://www.sorensonmedia.com/pages/?pageid=3) 6

d) The advertiser should provide one version of the movie in accordance with the following guidelines: * 600K Stream data rate video + audio up to 600kbps. 4. Sponsorship with video on the webpages with unmodified top graphic bar a) There is video player thumbnail located on the top sponsorship bar, containing ning play button or any other information which should encourage user to play video. b) After clicking play thumbnail enlarge to 300x250px and after clicking stop or after the end of the video it returns to its former dimensions. c) Based on the video provided by advertiser (in avi or mpeg file) Onet prepares the proper movie version with datarate up to 300kbps. Sponsorship is also available with additional ad Intro 1. Dimension: 750x450px 2. Weight: up to 50kB 3. Impression time: up to 10 sec. 4. Formats: jpg, gif, png, swf 5. Intro is available only with sponsorship and capping - 1/week. 7
