HEALTHCARE AT MACH SPEED.

The Fastest Way to Re Photo Courtesy of Cleveland Clinic THE FASTEST WAY TO RECOVERY With state-of-the-art medical jets and the most experienced and respected medical teams in the sky, AirMed is the ultimate air ambulance company. A seamless and world-class transport package, AirMed proves that all air ambulance companies are not created equal.

WHY AIRMED? THERE S NOT ENOUGH SPACE FOR ALL THE REASONS. AirMed International is the leading air medical transport company in the United States, with 18,000 total missions and counting. AirMed offers unparalleled medical care and bedside-to-bedside transportation on a worldwide basis and boasts the most experienced air medical crews in the industry. Chosen as fixed-wing operator for the top hospitals in the world, as well as a contracted carrier for the U.S. Department of Defense, AirMed operates its own fleet of fully customized Because we own our own aircraft and all dispatch, flight and medical crews are AirMed employees, our customers are assured that they will receive the best medical care available to them. This complete vertical integration sets us apart in the air ambulance industry. Countless world-renowned hospitals along with major insurance carriers, foreign governments and global assistance companies have all made AirMed their first choice for world-class air medical transportation fixed-wing aircraft, permanently configured for medical flight.

CARE OUT OF THIS STRATOSPHERE. AirMed utilizes a wider range of medical staffing than others in the medical transport business. Altitude-experienced physicians, trauma nurses and respiratory therapists are common on AirMed flights, while rarely available with other companies. This is especially important in complicated medical cases and on international missions, which is why the company also taps medical professionals from many areas of adult and pediatric specialties. Thirty-two percent of our international flights involve patients classified in poor to critical condition, and 22% are ventilator-dependent. Routinely lasting more than 20 hours, these transports require the highest level of patient care. All medical team members must complete medical and flight safety training, conducted jointly by the AirMed Medical and Flight Departments, before they are allowed to staff an AirMed flight. The AirMed Medical Department uses multiple levels of staffing to provide each patient with the most appropriate and cost-efficient care. AirMed is one of the few air ambulance providers who staff with advanced practiced or experienced flight nurses as Clinical Coordinators to coordinate all aspects of the patient transport, including communications between the transferring facility and physician and the receiving. MULTIPLE LEVELS OF MEDICAL CARE AVAILABLE ON EVERY AIRMED TRANSPORT ARE: LEVEL I: A specially trained Physician, one ICU-trained Registered Nurse and a Respiratory Therapist (in some cases a Nurse Practitioner may replace the Physician, and a second Registered nurse may replace the Respiratory Therapist on the three person team) LEVEL II: A specially trained physician and an ICU-trained Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist (in some cases a Nurse Practitioner may replace the Physician) LEVEL III: Two ICU trained Registered Nurses or one ICU-trained Registered Nurse and a Respiratory Therapist

THE WORLD IS OUR ICU Our world-class medical jets and crews are accustomed to the complexities of providing long-distance transports completing more than 18,000 missions in all 50 states, over 150 countries and 6 continents. Whether you need a medical escort or a rescue team, we ve got decades of experience. Below are some of the things that our jets are equipped with: ECG monitor with hands-free/pacer/defibrillator Monitor with the following capabilities: ECG end-tidal CO 2 pulse oximetry non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) invasive pressures monitoring temperature Transport ventilator & back-up ventilator Infusion pump(s) ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) This highly specialized equipment is available for selected transports. Handheld blood analyzer for selected electrolyte and blood gas values (available for selected transports) Fetal heart and Toco monitor CUSTOM AIRMED STRETCHER AND BASE Electrical: multiple 115 vac/60 hz outlets powered by dual 1000 watt AC inverters Medical gas system includes: Oxygen, 20 to 30 liter liquid systems on long-range aircraft (equivalent up to 25,000 gaseous liters with adjustable pressure capabilities) EE-Carbon fiber tank = 1360 gaseous liters on short-range aircraft MM-Cylinder = 3400 gaseous liters Air, supplied by dual compressors, joined to a common reservoir, providing continuous pressure of 50 psi Vacuum, supplied by suction pumps, maintaining adequate suction for varied functions ADDITIONAL NEONATAL EQUIPMENT Isolette with environmental controls Low-flow air/oxygen blender Ventilator

OUR JETS HAVE ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES. AND LIQUID OXYGEN AND DEFIBRILLATORS, TOO. Rivaling patient care in some of the finest hospitals, AirMed jets are equipped for virtually every critical care scenario. And unlike others in the industry, we have our own fleet so we can guarantee a quality medical flight and exceptional care across the board. All of AirMed s flight crews are simulator trained annually, which exceeds industry standards, and all long-range pilots hold ATP ratings. AirMed invests heavily in the planes it purchases. In fact, the average price of our planes is $9 million. After the purchase, we spend anywhere from 60 90 days permanently configuring it as a state-of-the-art intensive care unit. Our planes are used exclusively for medical evacuation, not leased for other purposes. Unlike planes from other air ambulance companies, ours are large enough to provide a stand-up cabin so the medical staff can operate comfortably. Not to mention, there s an enclosed lavatory for crew and patient family members. We have bases in multiple cities and affiliate providers around the globe, which ensures we re never more than a few hours away. All this explains why we re entrusted by renowned hospitals, prestigious companies and foreign governments across the world. FROM THE MOMENT THEY CAME TO GET ME, THEY WERE FOCUSED ON GETTING ME HOME. IT WAS 100 PERCENT CARE. AirMed transport patient
