Full services are available at our facility including, boardroom, administration staff, wireless and landline communications. Medical personal are on standby at a number of hospitals and clinics in Dublin, with travel time less than an hour to the air ambulance. We can be airborne within 4 to 6 hours, however most requests for repatriation services provide between 12 to 24 hours notice. AeroMedevac Ireland s pilots are some of the most experienced in the business. Our Captains have a minimum of 2,500 hours jet time with 500 hours on type. Co-pilots must have a minimum 1,000 hours total flying time. Individual Pilots are selected for their experience and professionalism. The training of AeroMedevac Ireland Pilots is second to none Flight Safety International is our Air Crew Training partner ensuring our Pilots go through rigorous and regular recurrent training. AeroMedevac Ireland is an Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approved air Ambulance Operator.

3 AeroMedevac Ireland Limited offers a clinically led emergency medical assistance service utilising dedicated air ambulance jets equipped with proven technology to the highest standards. Our mission: To provide an internationally accredited medevac service incorporating the acknowledged medical excellence offered by the Irish healthcare industry. AeroMedevac Ireland is the first provider in Ireland to offer a locally based capability for people requiring a medevac repatriation from Europe including Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, back to Ireland or the United Kingdom. AeroMedevac Ireland provides Air Ambulance transport for private medical insurers and international medical Assistance providers, and also offers assistance to both individuals and families requiring a medevac service, contracted privately. Our service includes a comprehensive bed to bed air ambulance capability including medical escorts, ground ambulance transfers and hospital admission. We also work with global assistance companies as an accredited air ambulance provider meeting their quality control systems and processes and all the ancillary services that Global Assistance Companies require. Our air ambulance is equipped with the latest medical equipment enabling us to cater for all types of medical emergency to treat a full range of conditions. We are able to offer adult and paediatric care.

4 What we do Intensive Care in the Sky While a patient is being repatriated, medical assistance teams provide the equivalent capability of intensive care units in the sky. AeroMedevac Ireland carry everything necessary to cope with medical emergencies including resuscitation equipment, oxygen, infusion pumps and a full range of fluids, drugs and supplies. Typical conditions, which are routinely managed while airborne, include cardiac conditions, traumas, infectious disease, head and spinal injuries. Our Medevac Escorts are trained to work with paediatric cases in addition to adult patients and have attended recognised CCAT training courses to compliment their formal qualifications. AeroMedevac Ireland knows that bedside to bedside service is of the utmost importance to our clients, we seek to provide this service for every medevac incident. Bedside to bedside service means that the medical escort is with the patient from the discharging facility, on the flight, and with the patient until arrival at the receiving facility. This approach allows our Medevac Escorts to maintain continuity of care, and insures that a detailed medical report is given to the receiving medical crew including ground ambulance. Typical medevac missions include: Patients who are travelling outside the UK and Ireland and become ill or injured requiring evacuation back home Patients with serious medical conditions needing transportation to a distant medical center that has capabilities which are unavailable locally Patients with women s health emergencies necessitating urgent access to obstetric or gynaecologic services in the UK or Ireland Chronically ill patients who want to relocate closer to family members. AeroMedevac Ireland are open for business on a 24/7 basis for 365 days a year. In most circumstances, our aircraft can be airborne with a fully crewed air ambulance with as little as 6 hours notice. 5 Medevac Level of treatment AeroMedevac Ireland is able to provide an intensive care environment with cardiac monitoring, defibrillation with pacing capabilities and advanced airway management, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, IV infusion pumps, pulse oximetry and emergency medication. Medevac levels of care may be categorised as follows: Basic Life Support (BLS) A BLS patient s condition is non-life threatening and normally requires basic monitoring and administering of care throughout the transfer. The aircraft and our Medevac Escorts are capable of handling any medical emergency throughout the entire transfer process. Advanced Life Support (ALS) An ALS patient is critically ill and requires advanced medical care. Our Medevac Escorts will maintain airways, operate more specialised monitoring and sustain equipment. The medical escorts are selected to meet the special diagnosis of the patient and are trained to provide care for any unforeseen changes. These cases are typically due to cardiac issues, trauma, burn cases or other ALS related conditions. Critical Care Support Critical care patients are transported in an intensive care setting, onboard the aircraft with a specialised medical team. A critical care team will consist of a specially trained physician and a critical care nurse that are specifically selected to meet the needs of the patient. Additional specialty personnel such as Respiratory Therapists may be required depending on the circumstances. Hospital admissions We will repatriate patients to any airport location in Ireland and the United Kingdom based on where further treatment has being arranged. AeroMedevac Ireland has agreements with hospitals in Dublin for access to intensive care unit (ICU) and other medical facilities for medevac patients. Under agreed referral arrangements, we are able to provide bed to hospital transfers and so provide a seamless service for patients repatriated to the British Isles. Our Medevac Escorts We are accustomed to mobilising doctors and nurses in response to requests for international emergency medical assistance requiring repatriation by air ambulance. The composition of the medevac escort team are determined by the patient condition and consist of Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists or other specialists as appropriate. Our Medevac Escorts work in the field of retrieval and transport of the ill and injured by air. They have attended courses in the clinical considerations in aeromedical transport and are aware of the special physical, physiological and psychological stresses that are important in the flight environment. They understand the conditions which are susceptible to this form of transport and how patients may be safely and efficiently carried. All Medical Aircrew understand the clinical aspects of transport medicine to enable sensible and safe decisions about fitness to fly and prediction of any potential aeromedical problems. They have ongoing training covering individual susceptible pathologies and the problems of critical care in the air. Our medical and aviation team are on standby to arrange repatriation from Europe, North Africa and Middle East to centres of medical excellence in Ireland and the United Kingdom. The Group Medical Director has overall responsibility for managing all aspects of medical intervention and services for AeroMedevac Ireland Limited. The Lead Medevac Doctor directs and supervises the medical team who have experience of treating trauma patients, emergency medical intervention, ICU and management of patients during transportation. Our Medevac Escorts are trained on CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) CCAT (Clinical Considerations in AeroMedical Transport). We work with global assistance companies as an accredited assistance provider meeting their quality control systems and processes. This includes providing medical monitoring of patients in flight to doctors in alarm centres and hospitals on the ground. AeroMedevac Ireland medical staff are covered by medical malpractice and general liability insurance.

6 Air Ambulance Aircraft AeroMedevac Ireland primary aircraft are specialised air ambulance vehicles. AeroMedevac Ireland operates a Sierra Stallion which is equipped with the latest life support systems including state-of-the-art stretcher system with built in oxygen, suction, air compressor, and inverter. (See aeromedical equipment section) The Sierra Stallion version of the Citation range provides for superior performance and capability thus increasing the safety margin in all phases of flight. AeroMedevac Ireland jets can dispatch in all but the most adverse weather conditions with full night, anti-ice and instrument capability. AeroMedevac Ireland back up aircraft is a Citation Super II and can be used for non stretcher medevac assignments including flying medical personnel to stabilise a patient. The Cessna Citation has twice won the Collier Trophy Aviations highest award for it s Unparalleled passenger safety record It is also the world s most popular business jet. All aircraft operated by AeroMedevac Ireland are regulated by the IAA (Irish Aviation Authority). The IAA is charged with regulating safety standards within the Irish civil aviation industry. Internationally-set safety standards emanating from the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO); European Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA); EUROCONTROL; the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the European Union (EU), guide the IAA in ensuring that Irish civil aviation operates to the very high safety standards. The above regulations are very stringent and detail pilot training, aircraft operation and maintenance. AeroMedevac Ireland meets or exceeds all of these guidelines. The safety of our Patient and Crew at AMI is paramount. It is our first, last and constant concern and is the foundation of all our operations. This fact is reflected in the aircraft we utilise and our strict Pilot training schedule. It is also the reason we have the most stringent maintenance and operational procedures in place.

7 Air Ambulance: Specialist equipment The medical interior of our aircraft is built around the Patient Loading Utility System (PLUS). The PLUS is a modular advanced life support (ALS) platform that attaches directly to the aircraft seat track with hand-tightened fittings. The PLUS is composed of three separate but complimentary elements: The PLUS base unit, the loading system, and the AeroSled stretcher. The PLUS base unit is the element of the system that interfaces directly with the aircraft. In addition to providing a secure platform for the AeroSled stretcher, the PLUS base unit houses the ALS components necessary to sustain a critical patient over extended flights. Standard base units include 3,500 liters of oxygen, a 1,000-watt electrical inverter, a compressed air pump, and a vacuum pump. The system attaches directly to the PLUS base unit and extends out of the aircraft door. The load ramp is bi-folding for storage and is therefore able to be transported with the aircraft. By extending out of the aircraft door, the loading system eliminates any lifting or tilting of the patient while on the stretcher. The AeroSled TS (Trauma Sled) is the standard patient platform that accompanies the PLUS. The AeroSled TS includes a pneumatically controlled backrest, a 2-inch thick mattress, and patient restraints. The AeroSled stretchers feature automatic locking and a single-hand release, making their manipulation inside the aircraft effortless for the medevac escort team.
