2 A great chance. Medical evacuation flights (MEDEVAC) offer a great chance for critically ill patients to get a better therapy. But an extensive provision of specific equipment and aircrafts was necessary to offer MEDEVAC services. But now, things have changed! With our technical background and medical experience, nearly any aircraft with enough space and range can be utilized for MEDEVAC flights. As no re-configuration of aircrafts will be necessary, a wide range of new services can be offered, even on empty legs. What we offer. With more than six years of experience with MEDEVAC flights, especially with activities in the golf region, we offer two different services for medical evacuation cases. Our experienced medical teams assist healthcare providers and airlines to find the right desicion for the best way of transport all over the world. MEDEVAC flights on Executive Jets/Air Ambulances These flights usually affect a transfer of critically ill patients with need of an intensive medical care by a medical team, which is not available at the origin of the departure. Escorting patients on commercial flights As we have specialized resources for medical flights, we are also able to escort less critical patients on commercial flights. Even after we already pushed the limits for commercial flights, only eligible patients can be transferred this way. 3 Which kind of patients can be transferred. In the last years we extended the possibilities of transfers on Air Ambulances or business jets. Currently we can take nearly 90 percent of critically ill patients who are treated on an ICU even with full life support. As a worldwide pioneer we recently even managed a transfer of a patient with complete extracorporeal life support on a heart-lung machine on a modified business jet from Dubai to Chicago in order to get a heart transplant. Each patient receives a full assessment from our own medical doctors to decide if the patient is fit-to-fly and how the transfer has to be prepared. We have especially extended experience in patients with acute trauma, transplants, neonatology and cardiovascular diseases. How it works. We provide a 24/7 medical coordination team in Germany and in Abu Dhabi to ensure a full service from the first contact until the transfer is completed. Depending on the medical history our team clarifies all needed procedures and equipment for the flight in advance. In very critical cases we also coordinate the transfer and procedures with the receiving hospital. Once all preparations are done, our medical team leaves to the departing hospital. All needed medical equipment will be brought along with the team. So no re-configuration of the aircraft will be necessary. The patient will be taken over in the hospital by our crew and will be handed over in the receiving hospital (Bed-to-Bed service). Only hospitals and ambulances have to be organized by our client.

Offering a specialized crew for each patient is one of our most important directives. Each patient is escorted by minimum one Doctor and one nurse. Our medical equipment is well chosen to ensure the highest flexibility and quality of care on MEDEVAC flights. All needed equipment is provided by us to avoid further spending or resources by our clients. The equipment contains inter alia: ۰ intensive care monitors to observe non-invasive and invasive parameters; ۰ intensive care ventilators for neonates and adults offering a wide range of ventilation pattern for different diseases; ۰ syringe- and infusion-pumps (high-, low- and very lowflow) for continuous drug application; ۰ mobile blood lab devices to ensure an optimum of full monitoring of blood parameters; ۰ integrated softwaresystems for documentation and follow-up the complete patientcycle
