10 The micus - aero concept Medical Advantages Medical experience has shown that the greatest risk in traditional patient transport occurs when the patient is to be moved from one vehicle to another when typically the medical instruments must be temporarily disconnected and the patient has to be moved to a different stretcher Continuous care is essential as it for instance ensures the patient's oxygenation and thus avoid brain damage and reduces the risk of complications Even a short interruption in the function of the medical devices can quickly lead to life-threatening situations The micus -concept increases patient safety by offering a true "bed-to-bed" intensive care solution 10

35 AMT PTU solutions Installation All PTU equipment are modular and installs directly to the aircrafts seat tracks in as little as 10 minutes The initial installation of the wiring harness takes about 6-8 hours to install Oxygen cylinders and tubing are all integrated in the PTU and require no separate installation Removing and installing the micus - aero or a standard stretcher from the Medstar or the Medical Divan is done within a few seconds by the medical crew 35
