3 About Us RMSI is an international rapid deployment medical and rescue service, specialising in complex and high-risk missions. Through our highly qualified, experienced team and state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, RMSI Rapid Deployment Medical & Rescue provides round-the-clock medical and emergency response services. Primarily operating in unstable war or conflict affected territories and areas of extreme natural or man-made hazards, our mission: to safeguard the health of your most valuable assets, your people. There are 4 key elements to our team: A cutting edge 24/7 Operations Support Centre strategically located in Dubai, which coordinates all operations and is staffed by a specialist team of aviation and medical professionals. Central Operations, managing permanent projects, such as field hospitals and Primary Emergency Retrieval services to ensure optimum capability and performance. Medevac, a safe, secure and fully-equipped fleet of aircraft which provides fast patient transfer. This includes both tactical rotary and fixed-wing operations, as well as international jet air ambulance services. And our Special Missions Unit (SMU), deployed for small team, high-risk missions such as political evacuations, natural or manmade disaster response, and discreet operations. 9 Central Operations (Field Hospital and EMS) RMSI currently operates a number of Role 1 clinics and Role 2 field surgical hospitals for government, inter-government organisations and corporations. The nature of current peacekeeping missions dictates the need for rapidly deployable medical support capabilities to a multitude of environments, and often within high risk or hostile locations. In support of such missions, a full surgical level team is also on standby. Emergency Medical Services or Crash Crew Services for military bases are a core competency of RMSI. Road ambulance services in support of embassies and organisations operating in austere locations have been part of the RMSI remit for almost a decade, leading to exceptional real world experience in war torn environments. RMSI specialises in rotary medevac services in support of civilian, government and inter-government entities across a number of challenging countries. Capable of deployment on immediate notice to move, this specialist unit is well equipped to handle any mission context, from single medic support to media, governments or corporations entering high risk areas, through to surgical level response to natural or manmade disasters.
