This same kind of continuous improvement and innovation is taking place with Cummins service and support processes to deliver benefits to dealers. This includes: n RAPIDSERVE Enhanced to make claims processing easier and faster RAPIDSERVE Web. RAPIDSERVE is the go-to place to file claims for Cummins warrantable repairs. RAPIDSERVE Web (rsw.cummins.com) is a selfservice resource that allows certified repair locations to open and file claims, track claim statuses and check engine coverage online at their convenience. RAPIDSERVE is also accessible over the phone by calling 1-800-832-4282 for administrative support on claims and for first-level troubleshooting assistance for in-warranty repairs. n Cummins Expert Diagnostic System (EDS) A new, innovative engine diagnostic tool that makes it easier to service engines right the first time n Dealer Diagnostic Support (DDS) Expanded availability for out-of-warranty engines n Dealer Policy Request System A new system to submit and track policy requests more easily n Cummins Virtual College Courses Now available on the Web n QuickServe Online Now offering labor recovery tools and real-time calibration downloads n ServiceLine communications For the most up-todate news on warranty administration, service and training Working with Cummins is getting better and easier than ever, from technicians on the shop floor and financial administrators filing claims to managers making policy requests. And everyone knows that easier is better. Cummins has made significant improvements to RAPIDSERVE Web. The interface is easy to navigate, and a live-chat feature lets you talk with an agent in real time if you require site navigation assistance. All claims can now be opened online. Only those claims requiring pre-authorization require a call to RAPIDSERVE.

The improved RAPIDSERVE site also provides easier access to engine coverage information, claims history and claims status by Engine Serial Number (ESN), which reduces the time spent on claims administration. Go to rsw.cummins.com to check out the latest improvements. A list of Standard Repair Times (SRTs) is now also available on RAPIDSERVE Web. We understand that an accurate warranty claim is important to you, and that you want claim filing to be as quick as possible. That is where the new SRTs come in. Within RAPIDSERVE, when you create a claim, a list of the most commonly used SRTs specific to manufacturer model, engine model and failure code is automatically displayed. The result is faster and more accurate warranty claims. Expert Diagnostic System (EDS). Imagine that a technician in Wyoming is looking at a problem with an ISX15 in a Class 8 truck. How valuable would it be to have the troubleshooting knowledge from all other similar pieces of equipment operating in North America? Cummins EDS gives every technician that kind of knowledge base, improving the accuracy and speed of troubleshooting and repair. Starting with the most likely solution makes the repair process more efficient. Cummins EDS significantly improves productivity in the service bays and reduces the amount of downtime for customers. A complete service history is recorded in the EDS for each engine, helping reduce repeat failures and comebacks. Cummins EDS is integrated with RAPIDSERVE Web to automatically import validated diagnostic SRTs. Cummins EDS is available both online and offline, so your technicians will always have access to the most up-to-date diagnostic information, in the shop or on the road. Dealer Diagnostic Support (DDS). Cummins provides you with assistance for every repair, in warranty or out of warranty. Certified Cummins dealer locations can now call for diagnostic support on out-of-warranty repairs seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. in their local time zones. All it takes is one toll-free call to 1-800-832-4282. For faster assistance, callers should have the following information ready when they call: n Contact information for the dealer technician (name, ProMotion ID, phone number and e-mail address) n Basic Cummins engine information (ESN and mileage or hours) n Documented troubleshooting and repair steps, including values and measurements n Current INSITE job image from the engine (for electronically controlled engines) Of course, your local Cummins distributor is always available to handle questions beyond diagnostics support. Dealer Policy Request System. Cummins has designed a new dealer Policy Request System for faster service. This online system makes it easy to submit and track policy requests. What s more, this new Web-based system is similar to other Cummins applications you are already using, so you are not going to have to learn a new system. Today, things change so rapidly that you can t afford to take a chance on outdated information. You need the most current information continuously updated every minute of the day. QuickServe Online is the answer, giving you easy access to parts-and-service information on nearly 11 million Cummins engines, including over 1 million related documents, all on the Internet. Search functions are easily performed at quickserveonline.cummins.com using an ESN. We have added useful features to QuickServe Online. Have you ever needed the latest engine calibration, but didn t have access to the correct INCAL Calibration DVD? You can now download the latest calibrations from QuickServe Online just by using the ESN whenever and wherever you need them. QuickServe Online even has tools to help with warranty claims administration. When you log in, click on the Warranty tab at the top of the screen. In the RAPIDSERVE section, you will find multiple service accessibility checklists, best practices, technician worksheets and much more.

Cummins Virtual College. The Cummins interactive self-directed learning system, Cummins Virtual College, is now available on the Web. The training is designed for technicians, and is now available at your convenience. ServiceLine Communications. Cummins has introduced ServiceLine, an electronic news communication for dealer service, warranty and parts personnel. With the news you get from ServiceLine, you will be up to date with all the ways in which we are making Cummins service better for you.
