SBAM members have access to our negotiated products and services and to our responsive customer service team to help you with complicated HR issues, claims and billing, enrollment and terminations, ordering new ID cards and much more. Members enrolling in our BCBSM/BCN program will receive a free Summary Plan Description to help keep your business compliant with ERISA and the US Department of Labor. Members have access to our free HR hotline for help with sticky human resource issues. We ll help you stay compliant with ERISA and other US Department of Labor rules and regulations through easy to follow checklists, responsibility grids, web portals and consulting. SBAM Consolidated Billing and Enrollment Services SBAM members enrolling in our sponsored BCBSM/BCN, LFG, COBRA Administration, Section 125 Plan, FSA, HSA and HRA programs have an additional benefit consolidated billing and enrollment services. Our consolidated billing and enrollment service brings you exclusive access to our responsive customer service team. Additionally, premium payments for BCBSM/BCN health, dental and vision, LFG life and disability, administration fees for COBRA and Section 125, FSA, HSA and HRA services will come on one consolidated invoice from SBAM once per month. This consolidated billing service allows you to make payment for SBAM services jointly (one check) and just as important, when you add or terminate an employee, you only need to communicate that once. Not only can we guarantee a simple consolidated invoice, we re the only organization that has the capability to put BCBSM and BCN premiums on the same invoice.
SBAM s Billing Administration Partner SBAM works with many great organizations across Michigan to bring you the best products and services possible, including Grotenhuis. Headquartered in Grand Rapids, with offices in Lansing, Kalamazoo and Traverse City, Grotenhuis is our third party administrator (TPA) and it s their systems that open the door to consolidated billing and enrollment services that will make your life easier. When you enroll in our sponsored health, dental, vision, life and disability programs, you automatically gain access to the consolidated billing, enrollment and customer service of Grotenhuis. When this happens, you will also be able to include the monthly cost of any additional services like COBRA, Section 125, FSA, HSA and/or HRA administration. Again... one invoice, one payment, once a month. The Cost Of SBAM Services SBAM is a membership organization, so before any of our member benefits are available to your company, you must first become a member. We have three levels of membership for your company to choose from: Basic $99, Premium $219 and VIP $349.
