II The Second Euro-Med Conference Plant Natural Products from Biodiversity to Bioindustry 8 11 December 2011 The wonderful success of The 1 st Euro-Med Conference on "Plant Natural Products" (BioNat- I) held in Egypt 2009, strongly inspires us to organize the second one conference aims to bring the scientists, decision makers, industry men, technologists, young graduates, and students across the globe to promote exchange and discussion of issues relating to plant natural products (metabolic networks, vitamins, carotenoids, flavonoids, anti-nutrients, toxins, products of plant-associated microorganisms and bioactive proteins). Attention is also devoted to the herbal medicine, plant-derived drugs, phytopharmaceuticals, synthetic drugs, ethno-pharmacology, biodiversity as well as legislations and research strategies. This gathering will provide a tool to establish interdisciplinary network between Egyptian and the international scientists in order to inspire and provoke crucial discussions and debates in the field.
